they did have a 70% off just few days ago for more than a week. but you shouldnt wait around, just pull the trigger now and claim for their price difference adjustment later... 50% off is a very good deal already though

there was never a 80% sales. I saw few snowboards marked down by 80% though.

id say dont get too greedy and take the 50%. The stuff sells out so quick you may just end up taking the leftovers at 70%

i have bought so much stuff off here i get another package every week, it sucked that i waited a bit to long, i did get my first stuff for 70% bout 50% is still awesome...you have been my saviour SIERRA!!!

come on now. How would anyone who is not an employee know? And why would an employee tell you, they might as well say 'stop buying! wait for the sale guys!!!"? Theyll definitely go to 70% if they have too much stuff left over, and definitely not bother if they can get rid of their inventory at 50%.
If they go to 70% soon or within a month, you get a price adjustment anyway, so its pretty much a call you make based on likelihood of your item being sold out, versus the chance theyll go to 70 while your item is in stock :) You have a 1 month grace period to get it completely wrong, so roll the dice and good luck! :)

Kinda of like how walmart destroyed local mom and pop shops? Or how Intel owns most of the CPU industry, or how microsoft is used on what 95% of all computers? Probably not on the same scale of economies, but you get my point. People buy where they get the triad (Quality, Price and Technology) I could be totally wrong and this may be utter bs.

There's been plenty of these forums. If you're an active member on their site, you would notice that they put things on a 70% off sale, so they wouldn't have to move their inventory to their new warehouse. Now that they're in a new warehouse, the likelihood that they'll have another 70% off sale is slim to none. It could happen, but not likely.

i recently asked staff and they had no answer about the 70% off sale coming back anytime soon.... I just made my purchases, hopefully i can get credit if stuff does go on 70% sale. This site/store is amazing, no idea how anyone else can compete?!

So if you buy something at 50% and it goes to 70% off within a month, do they mail you a check or credit your account or something for the difference? Does it happen automatically or do you need to catch it and ask for it?

can't wait for the 70% off too!! they have it I think pre-season (maybe)...but also during the season SS would decide they'd do a almost give away price! how cool would it be though to get 70% off then additional 10% cut for members! sweet!!
yeah, not too many snowboard websites aren't pleased with SS...where, I used to get my stuff, they weren't please..very few kind words were said.
as soon as the 70% off is released, I hope they'll have more 'boarding pants/jackets available for me! yes!!
