i almost got the bad lieutenant. but then i tried on a RED trace (not
audio) and it felt GREAT! WAY better than the bad lieutenant. who
knows, i might get one later down the road just to have more than one,
but the Red feels great on my head. it's not an audio, so that's
somewhat of a drawback, but i can just slip some earbuds in there and
be gravy.
i probably won't wear on the cruising days, probably just the hardcore days, but i do plan to bring it with me every time i go up, just in case. |

I was big on the Bad Lieutenant for quite a while (see my previous reply) but a lot of people from some other forums complained about the lack of air vents. It wouldn't fit me anyway since they don't have it in an XL.
It is recommend that you go into a shop to try them on. I'm glad I did because even though my head was supposed to fit a Bern Baker according to the website, it was extremely uncomfortable when I tried it on. Shape has a huge impact! I went into a shop and tried on a few and actually found that the Head Pro J and R.E.D. Hi-Fi were the only good fit helmets for my huge head. I wish I could have gone with the K2 Crossfire but it didn't fit... ![]() Edited by dcdomain - Nov/22/2006 at 9:09am |
