I'm also looking for a new pre-workout supp. I bought some Juggernaut but it basically does nothing for me

Well, I tried one small scoop..which is what they recommend for first time users. It was grape flavor and I used 4 oz of water...IT TASTED TERRIBLE omg. I'm usually pretty leneient with taste..but this was just gross. About 35 mins later, at the gym I felt pretty wired...and then my hands and face started feeling...tingly. Maybe it was in my head, but I felt pumped. Gonna order Assult (green apple flavor) to give that a try. |

Have you tried the berry (or raspberry? I had a sample) flavor? It ain't bad. Taste really sweet, too sweet for me. I'm taking Beast now, it's purdy good--no nasty after taste. Gives me lots of energy and makes me feel like I WANT to work out. haha, i get lazy when I'm tired. Anywho, only bad thing is don't take it within 3-4 hours before you sleep or else you can't sleep. That stuff keeps me up at night. |

It was 50* the past couple days in Jersey which was an awesome change of pace weather wise but now its back to 20* and windy as all hell. Should be an interesting run.
Still holding steady on my diet, left myself an extra 500 calories today for a nice post workout shake too. |

Went for a climb again today, felt so weak doing it since I went yesterday and didn't get much sleep ..which I should be doing now.
Played with some weights, they didn't have much choices.. either too light or too heavy nothing inbetween.. but I used em anyways and did fewer reps or more when I was on the lighter weight. Until next time! hope i can get out and ride in the nexted few days.

I generally only have a banana or somethin prior to a workout. Some of that stuff is chocked with caffeine, and since i get to the gym in the evenings, i don't feel like bein all strung out when I'm tryna wind down.
I tried some Scivation "Xtend" intra-workout stuff for a while, but i didn't really notice any difference. In fact, I feel like my muscle growth was better when I was no longer using it. That may be more due to a change in workout regimens though. |

Took yesterday off to do some errands and i guess just lazy about, had a lot of sushi OH man so bloated.
and today I got to get out and RIDE! Slept quite late the night before so I was really exhausted today wanted to sleep on the ride up but tried to keep good company for the driver. Was going to go to the gym again today but decided against it to rest up tonight.

I wonder why I get no motivation when I do legs. I give up too easy or do very little when I work out. Any suggestions to an fast workout routine (10-15 minutes) for great results? btw, I don't run in the cold so that's out of the picture :)

15 minutes isn't giving yourself much time! But if you're strictly going for a short workout, I'd say alternate squats and burpees or mountain climbers. That will get your large muscle groups as well as your stabilizers, and the burpees/mtn climbers will get keep your heart rate elevated.

For legs if you want a simple workout that will kill your legs. Sit on the seated leg press machine and find the weight where you can do 50 reps of leg press.
Then you do 50 calf raises. Then rest for 60seconds. Then you slightly increase the weight and drop the reps to 40. Then 30. Then 20. Then 10. Then you do that in the reverse order. So start at 10. Then 20. Then 30. Then 40. Then 50. Obviously this is the full workout so if you want to make it smaller in any way you could just start at 30 and still get a solid workout.

2 weeks into my cut and it's going fantastic. Noticing I'm not short of breath doing normal stuff, riding rails has been easier with the board not bending on boardslides as much, stopped snoring and my runs are getting much more efficient.
Still mad I dropped and broke my scale before my first weigh in. -_- |

Just got back from the gym..gotta love chest days.
Did an ab workout for the first time in AGES with my buddy today...I was reminded of why I hate ab workouts so much! It also frustrates me that they will never show no matter what if my %bodyfat is above 13ish. |

Chest days are the best!! And everyone hates doing abs. I don't follow a routine anymore but I just set myself 15 minutes to be constantly doing something so I don't get bored quickly

Haven't been updating, but somewhere in the past 3 days I went to the climbing gym for short time, 1hr? climbed a little bit, did some traversing.
Went over to another gym and did a Yoga class.. well they call it a Joga class. Also worked on rotator cuffs too Now what I need to work on is SLEEP, really need my rest. Thinking of doing a morning Joga class tomorrow but trying to figure out what i'm going to do with breakfast.

Well the Sleep idea died quick, still have to work on that.
did another Joga class in the morning.. thought it was only an hour long started at 8, got out and found out it was 10!, NO doubt I was late for work. After starting these classes, I dunno where I am with my workouts.. abs?shoulders?.. bah...

Did an arm day at the gym yesterday. Kinda lost my motivation for being there once i got to the gym, but that just propelled me to beast through my workout at a freak-like pace. Felt good :D
Today I'ma do a light leg day + a bit of circuit training. Going boarding tomorrow and last time i did a full leg day i killed myself.. that would make for a miserable day on the hill! I'm still a bit over 200 pounds though. Gained a ton (10 lbs) of weight over the holidays. Need to get to the gym more regularly and burn that lard basket off! |

Arms and shoulder - every day on crutches. My upper body has gotten quite toned
![]() Lower body - atrophy. Started physical therapy finally and have started to work out my quad on my injured leg. The right leg is tired from all my balancing on it and hopping one footed in the apartment. Cardio - taking my dog out on 2 walks a day |

just hit up the climbing gym again.
shoulder feels weak, did some rotator cuffs.. minimal inner core. my cardio was walking /jogging around in heavy boots outside in the 30cm of snow, man its tiring! much rather be riding around on it. Something is up with my lowback left side.. something is pulling right to my glutes totallly weakening the whole side, kinda like hitting your funny bone and everything goes weak. |

I'm visiting my Aunt in Santa Barbara and I went to 24hr Fitness to workout. I don't have a membership but I signed up for the free 3 day pass and they wouldn't give it to me because I live more than 20 miles away from the gym. So I had to pay $10 to workout. $10 is a decent price especially when the other gyms around were asking $15, but it's still annoying that the 3 day pass didn't work. Oh well...

I'll remember that for next time. That gym was weird because the weight room was in their basement. I was kind of trippin' out, thinking I'd be screwed if a big earthquake hit. But I got out and hopefully I never have to go back again.

School's getting a little lighter, so I'm trying to hit the gym 4-5 times a week! I hope this lasts. |

Yeah they can. The pull up and its variants are pretty much the best upper body workouts you can do.

back from the beach from a 3 mile jog which ended shortly after my thigh started cramping out, never knew there be so much people on a cold day top off with some sparing at bluff park with the boxing gloves.I never knew that throwing punches consistently will drain the hell out of you,I have so much respect for those professional boxers out there who make it look easy.

Just thought I would share what I do to stay in shape. I don't like gyms or using weights. I like to you use my own weight to exercise with because once you start with weights, you can't really stop and expect to get the same results. I have a chin up bar I use for a variety of chin ups, I also hang from it and do leg raises. I do some sit-ups, bicycle crunches, and push-ups. I get results quite fast I must say. I encourage you all to ditch weights and find alternatives.

I have a problem. My left leg is ALOT weaker than my right. I'm in the process of trying to even them out before I start doing squats at the gym because when I do, I lean to my right leg and it does all the work. Any exercises that work out legs that I can do on one leg only?

Who requires you rest between sessions? Just do it. You can do it every day and you'll be fine. You will be sore but you won't die.
