I like my wireless mouse! It turns itself off after not being used for 3-5 minutes (clicking turns it back on).. And i use it for my work lappy, soooooooo they buy the batteries :D .
I have a combo wireless Logitech mouse/keyboard that I bought a number of years ago. I have only had to replace the batteries once in those, so I've been pretty impressed with that. Unfortunately the wireless receiver is a pretty shitty design, (metal interferes with the signal), and its sensitive enough that if it's sitting on the table above a nail, it flat out won't work. Bah.


In unrelated news, I bought some binders yesterday :). Just got some black burton customs, but should go with my board real nicely (hell, should go with any board pretty nicely). Coulda got some Union Flites for $20 cheaper, but I liked the adjustability of the Burtons. Hooray for having all the gear I'll need for this winter!

Yup. I been there too, but mine was on a school sponsered ski trip. I still got in heaps of trouble. Hope your 18 days goes fast.

Sit in a room, be quite, and do a packet of schoolwork was my in school suspension. I kind of enjoyed it because the teacher leaves you alone. Bad thing is that you don't get to hang out during lunch.

My family has always been batshit crazy.  Sugar Bowl is opening this weekend, but my excitement to ride is tempered by the fact that the foundation on my house seems to be sinking due to soil erosion and probably needs repairs costing tens of thousands of dollars.  That I don't have.

I will choke down a taco platter lunch and try to find a silver lining.

I'm talking to them.  I don't think so.  They're trying to weasel out of it.  May have to take advantage of the excellent free legal advice available on these forums.

We had a teacher who forced you to sing to his plant during detention.  I hated that plant.

The soil erosion (if not stated as a possible hazzard during inspection) could also be counted as an act of god/nature/Flying Speghetti Monster.  Especially if it started or was made worse by a storm.

Well, I have extensive flood insurance because I live in a flood zone, but I think the issue will be what caused the foundation to sink.  If it's water damage (not a flood) I think I'm screwed.

I got a contractor coming to look at it tomorrow.  Maybe we can just chuck some spackle under there and see what happens.  Or p-tex.

oh crap you are right that is an awesome question. i was thinking about holiday sales but forgot to think about this stuff going on sale. a good time to ask would be around the give away time so the staff will have the best answer for us. I wonder if evo and such will have some killer sales as well?
