So I got up this morning and my car (03 Civic) had been broken into, they got my stereo and mine and my gf's sunglasses which sucks and its a $300 deductible on my insurance which also sucks. The best part is this shtooking guy couldn't figure out to get into my car:
Step 1: Try to punch the passenger side lock.... oh wait that didn't work ok lets just completely shtook up the door and try to get the whole lock out. Damage done by step one= Busted lock and totally shtooked up door (dented and scratched to shit). Step 2: Try to Slim Jim passenger door.... this also didn't work it just scratched the glass and messed up all the weather stripping. Damage done by step two= Scratched glass and mangled weather stripping not to mention what he did inside the door b/c I can't unlock it or open it. Step 3: Try to pry open passenger side door and use the old coat hanger trick...... this also didn't work. Damage done by Step tree= Bent window frame, ripped weather stripping and my door panel near the lock all scratched to shit. Too embarrassed to tell your friends (or drug dealer) you couldn't break into car to steal some stuff you can flip for $50 Try Step 4. Step 4: SMASH Back window on the passenger side. Damage done by step four= See technique for step four. Oh ya and instead of just releasing the 2 clips and sliding the Deck out Punch a screw driver through the dash panel so you shtook that up too....... and don't for get to steal the change (approx 57 cents) and the car wash tokens........fml So end result 3 of my 4 doors have something wrong with them and my dash is destroyed and I am out $300.

damn. that hella sucks. The one time my car got busted into, some of my gym clothes fell in the mud and they but them back into my bag and put it on the seat. LoL
Best part is they stole a $150 stereo (didn't break anything to get in or the stereo out) but my $600 groupo of Shimano Ultegra parts was left on the passanger seat. Sorry you got a crack head trying to open your doors |

That sucks...where do you live again so I can avoid that area?
I've lived in a city where bums were rampant and if you left change or CDs anywhere in sight in your car, people broke into it for at most $25 and damage costing you hundreds. I've had a friend who left her backpack in the backseat and someone broke a window to steal that. It didn't have anything worthwhile in there just her notes for classes (sucked either way cuz she was premed and she really needed those notes). |

On time I left my car unlocked and my friends house for 20 minutes and walked out to someone sitting in my car with the window broken out. They took Three dollars worth of change and the keys out of the ignition then ran down the steet. One of his neighbors saw it all happen and alled the cops and they caught him luckly!

my truck was broken into once in Colorado. no damage was done through. The theft pryed the sliding glass window open and stole a $250 shot gun, $200 duck call, a bunch of copied CDs, a hunting bag with a box of $10 shells. Didn't still $200 pair of binocular and a lot of work stuff.

That really sucks. One time, I just watched someone steal like $5 from my friends car. My friend next to me told me it was his friend so I didn't do anything, I felt really bad afterwards.

does anyone else find it ironic that we were just talking the other day about shaka's knowledge of shady things, like breaking into cars, and why everyone always asks him about that stuff?
shaka have you given out information recently? ![]() |

sucks to hear that man. I had my jeep broken into (2 windows smashed each time) TWICE within 2 weeks. disrespectful crackhead tweaker theives are the worst. They'd be better off begging for change on the street corner, but I don't think they could sit still for that long.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I don't bother doing stuff to the vehicles just because it only takes one dumb effer to mess it up. Civics seems to be pretty high up on the list when it comes to being broken into. It's a lot of work to fix all those damages, but at least the car wasn't taken and it can still get you from point A to point B even if you don't look cool doing so.
Lower your deductible if you can. Hang in there, man! |
