I'd like to formally announce that Mr. David was correct.
Rome is making discs that are 3d compatible. Or as they put it "inferior binding insert system" compatible. They do not look like traditional 3d compatible discs, and actually provide a lot of micro adjustment options even if you run a 4x4 snowboard. If you can get a pair from your local shop, I highly suggest it. They offer a bunch of additional stance adjustments compared to a traditional 4x4 disc. So it looks like through some engineering and input from the Syndicate, they have taken something minimal like discs and created a nice technical innovation. I'll try to post a pic or two when I get back home. ![]() Ok. Back to my California vacation. In Santa Barbara right now sipping on Margaritas. Edited by hoon - Nov/08/2006 at 6:47am |

Rome is huge in the West coast in certain area's. The PNW its taken off a ton, and CO has a lot of Rome love. At copper this past weekend I saw more new Rome than I did New Burton. Although I did see a lot of Burton gear that reminded me of the mid 90's.

I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not buying the Craig Kelly Mystery Air that was on ebay last year for 100 bucks.

Brushie was with Burton for several years and then moved on to Ride for a couple years (around '99 or '00?) The boards worth collecting are from his earlier years with Burton. |

I stand corrected...I responded prematurely (kind of like my sexual performance ) ... i did some research and found this sicknesshttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170046617198&rd=1&rd=1 Anyway, I saw "Craps table" and thought gambling, and I own this board which is a 2000 Ride Brushie "Pro" model: ![]() Peace |
