 Topic: Free Daily Giveaway question

I understand that we need to sign in to win the prize. How do you determine the winner (are you drawing names from the username signed in, or from Forum or General Chat)? Also, I noticed that some people on the General Chat already know who the winner after 3 when the winner's name has not shown on "Today's Winner" box. Thanks.

What dreams said :) You have to be logged in and have been recently active (in the last 30 minutes) or so to show up on the active users list at the bottom of the forum home page. This is where we pull the list from.

You have to be logged in and have been recently active (in the last 30 minutes) or so to show up on the active users list at the bottom of the forum home page. This is where we pull the list from.

Damn, I didn't realize the active window was that tight (30 mins). Sucks that the giveaway coincides with bathtime for my kids... I guess I'll need to make sure I madly refresh before and/or after bathtime to get my name in....

That is the daily giveaway page, but I didn't see any live video of the drawing today or any other day that I've been logged on at 3:00 waiting to see if I won. Neither of the two video windows on that page worked for me...maybe my browser is f'd up, I don't know...

make sure to refresh your page at 3:00 pm to see the video.. then push play. most of the time its on the left of the 2 vids.
i would log in 5 minutes before 3pm PST to make sure your name makes it onto the list.

What browser & version are you using. Also what platform & operating system (ie; PC/Windows or Mac/Snow Leopard)

You may not see yourself on the list that is listed next to the chat because for some reason it takes a long time to update properly, etc. ( not really sure why it doesn't show up there )
BUT
They get the list of users from the list of online users on the FORUM. if you go onto the forum and go look at the list of users online there your name should be there :)

I believe so. A good way to check is when you are at a computer, log in with your blackberry and check on the computer if your login shows up as active member on the bottom of the forum home page.
