haha i have an 06 and an 07 agent. and i have ridden either it was an 05 or 06 custom.
hmm i prefer the agent a little bit. and im going to take out my biasness towards rome cuz i hate burton.. tough question kid, cuz if you love Rome, you hate burton, welll unless you just dont get why Rome is soo good, which is a kinda long storey. Anyways i say they match up pretty similar. There is a kid on my Team, Mike Sears that rides the Custom (check him out in the 07 X Games this year, hopin he will qualify for finals) and he rides it pretty strictly for pipe. soo just by that im throwin it out there that the Custom is going to be stiffer. i believe it is too. Support Rome though and buy a board that is a couple hundRED dollars cheeper wich is the agent :). |

Support Burton. They were the one who came up with idea. The idea was SNOWBOARDING!.. They have the best products and the custom has been made in 11 years so its almost perfected now

the anthem is more analogous to the custom.
yes a custom can be buttered, pressed, etc. i'd characterize them like this Agent - 80% park, 20% mountain Custom - 50% park, 50% mountain Anthem - 40% park, 60% mountain all work well on rails, park, flatland and riding around the mtn. this is one of those situations where i say choose based on which fits your boot size and weight the best and which graphics you like the best as they are all great boards. |
