It was kinda cool seeing the same person win, "Guest", twice. What are the odds of that. Almost 7000:1 I think. Still cool haha.

102 days actually. The first one was not a random drawing, it was one of the active participation ones. This was the first random drawing.

It wouldn't be a good idea for Sierra, they are out to make money, it IS a business. If the drove away 2-3 people a day by giving them snowboards and telling them they can never win again, well that just isn't smart. They are trying to make it more fair by giving a 90 day winning ban, but they want those customers to come back. It's a marketing scheme for them. They want to keep as many customers on their site, looking at their product, buying their product.

And with 235,000+ members, at 5 drawings for 52 weeks, it would only be 906 years before a person could win again. Might be a little too old to ride it at that age.

Has anyone been noticed that the name Guest has been rolling across the reel very frequently? I've nv seen my name roll through but I have seen that name more then a few times. Bad luck I guess  |

umm... guys there is no such thing as random on computers, its just an algorythm that picks a number from a normally distributed set. So if you grab a number from a random sequence and provide the same seed the result will always be the same. (same seed, and same sequence value). Most programs seed on date.
as for never seeing your name appear they should at least make the spinner spin through every user first before stopping, so pick a number between max users and max users x 2 or 3 or 4  . |

gues goes by the screen cause there are multiple ones with _ then five numbers after. they arent the same person unless those 5 numbers are the exact same. and they are registered members.

I just bought a new board... I don't know how I would feel if I won. Of course I would be stoked, but I would also feel like I wasted money on a new board... I'm sure it's happened to others.

I think you'll start to see more t-shirts out there when more people hit their 200 points. Of course if they're cotton you may not see people wearing them at the mountain. Maybe if they add t-shirt size to people's profiles they could throw in a free one from time to time with orders over $100
