Your points will arrive when they do, stop worrying about it. These bugs will take a bit to figure out and as soon as they do, they will change the points system again

You won't be notified about surpassing a level if the points aren't showing in your profile. When you're logged in, the ordering system pulls information from your profile to fill in the blanks about who you are, where things will be shipped to, how many gift cards you have and whether you get a member discount. If it isn't showing in the profile, it isn't going to show in the order screen.

How long does it usually take for them to update your points? I made a few purchases last month totally nearly $1000. hopefully i'll get some points for parting with all this cash

Sorry but you have to be logged in to get those points. To my knowledge you won't be able to get those points back.

Yes, because the programmers don't have anything else to work on (new homepage, new community page, new product pages, new checkout page) *end sarcasm*.

Probs won't get them until after the sale since most people are on the verge of 10% off. If they apply the pts now, they'll probs lose more $$ than they should w/ the 60-70% off sales currently going on. Plus, when you get the 10% off/other respective percentage off and the free gift, it will give you more reason to buy more products from Sierra later. It's an endless cycle of purchases

I am new to Sierra but this place seems really cool. Glad to have stumbled across it.

Yeah, but most likely you aren't going to review 3 items everyday.

kreskelsoe was talking about getting 15 points a day (3 review, 5 posts, login). If it was 6 points, then it would take a little more than 4 years and 8 months.

This thread will be updated when the retro-active points have been taken care of. Until then, we know that you didn't get your points And just to reiterate for those who skipped the first post: - Points for purchases has been working again since the 18th of March. - Nighthawk will be adding them to the recent points list on your profile as it has been previously not shown. -
Points for purchases prior to the 18th that were not awarded will be
retroactively added soon (we do not know an exact date on this yet). The points were implemented and worked for quite some time, but stopped working when we relaunched the site on October 12, 2009. Previous
to that, the points worked from when we first implemented that aspect of points until that
date, so there won't be any other points added prior to then. So, just to be clear. Anyone who made purchases between October 12, 2009 and March 18, 2010 will have the points added to their account that the purchases were made on when the programmers get the chance to work on it.
