Yeah! a must have.....Rippey, Salasnek, Terje and Jamie Lynn.....Big AK....'nuff said.
The way I see it, progression takes on many forms. For instance, take a look at the other board sports. Skateboarding, which was born from bored surfers looking for something to do on the flat days evolved into it coming full circle by influencing what it was born from. Grabs, aerials, etc., are now the norm in modern surfing. Snowboarding argueably, has its roots in both surfing and skating. Thus, it's quite natural to combine skate moves with snowboarding. But I wll have to admit, for purists such as myself, nothing will ever compare to a huge, choking gaff in the fluff.....moreover, the tube ride is, and will probably always be the defining moments in anyones surfing. Out of all my surfing memories, my barrels stand out the most. And the thing is, you're basically setting your edge and charging...easy, right?

I don't see how some rails and jumps on groomed runs hurts anyone. It gives people more options on what they can do when they hit the mountain. You can still go backcountry and do bowls if you just want to freeride.

Hi everyone, new here, but I dont mind the rails. I myself like to get into open powder, but thats my idea of fun. Not to mention enjoy the surrounding of being up on the mountain. I love it!

I think Neeko was talking more about the kids who buy a 60 dollar lift ticket, just to stay in the park all day. It seems that anymore, people have become so narrow-minded with their riding and they are not open to actually using the ENTIRE mountain to their advantage.
