really depends on the mood you wanna set, but Ratatat and MGMT never fails :] for more of a "hardcore" mood i would go with something in the rap genre that has some nice heavy bass beats.

if you can use some kinda electronic music like the waters of Nazareth song in 'that's it that's all' along with some video editing like changing the colours of they're pants with the beat of the music(which just so happens to be in that's it that's all also) then that would look cool

I absolutely can't stand rap music in snowboard videos...the whole thug image just doesn't work for me and I think rappers use their "music" to complain even more than country singers.

i prefer rock/punk over rap also (Muse was a great suggestion btw) but i recently saw the snowboard vid "Picture This" on TV and the song "Rhythm" by AWOL One was freakin awesome in it

Get some cruisy (or not so cruisy) Drum and Bass on the soundtrack.... Pendulum have some great choons...I used 'Spiral' on my skydiving vid and it fit in perfectly.

spend your own time figuring it out. music is one of the biggest parts in conveying a mood or theme or vibe, so if you put music that doesnt fit the video at all, its not nearly as enjoyable to watch... like all those videos where people throw together footage and then lay over some lame "rock" song or something that just totally ruins the video even more.
and the majority of the songs posted in here are exactly the type of song that will blow the video.
