Its something you need to decide, depends on the sections of the vid and the tempo. Very Very subjective.

also never ever do this.  this one is unfortunate cause some of the riding and filming is good.  but the song?  holy god.  and please make sure you get to the screaming parts so you realize its not just some whack techno-ish-whatever beat.

try and match the tempo of changing clips with the tempo of the song

i guess it would depend what time your riding and where on the mountain, when ever im just riding through trees having a chilled out ride then its all ways Mt Eden i listen to, nice chilled dubstep but when im good enough for the parks then im going to be listening to faster stuff that gets me more in the mood.
Choose the music to fit the scene and the style of riding. Either way abit of Mt Eden is a must but thats just my view as i love it. When your the only person you see on the slope having a chilled out track with enough bass kicks ass
