In the movie "I ride park city".. (I think) or "Picture This" (one of those two) hes riding some half pipe with KP.. and they r both shredin it up... :D

This is stupid but maybe it like a picher going on a perfect game or a no hitter everyone just wants to leave him alone while he's on top.

He rode with I believe Kevin Pearce in their part in Picture This, which is a sick part btw. The few times I have seen him shredding main park at mammoth, hes always riding alone.

Maybe he just likes riding alone and people think he's the best and what not but you can see that this dude got a near perfect run and on the podium Shaun White is standing below him.

He's always been sort of a loner, I always figured he spent so much of his life being a superstar that he has a hard time getting along with other people.


He never really had a childhood right? just snowboarding and eventually competitions competitions and more competitions.

just watched its always snowing somewhere and it was killer... oh to be paid to ride and travel and ride some more....

I'm sure he doesn't always ride alone.  It's different when you're shooting a video.  When he's in the frame, I'm pretty sure most people are really focused on what he's doing, so it makes sense he's alone there.

Personally, i think the guy seems pretty down to earth. He always looks shocked when he finishes a run and you see him giving pounds to everyone.

I have the hardest time getting my friends together for a sesh on the mountain. So i cant even imagine what it's like for him with his schedule. Video does not equal real life.

But you also factor in that sponsors want you to ride with the guys they sponsor. You probably dont want a guy riding for Monster to ride with a guy that rides for Red Bull.

Besides every top athlete in every sport has multiple coaches in different aspects of the sport, personal psychologist etc. That's a lot of time with other people.
