It was free that one day when they got that dump in October 2 years ago.  And then all that snow melted and they had to close again to reopen in November.

Yeah it's really sketch going down that ramp.  So we're rethinking the design.

That...yeah I told my friend the drop in is way way too steep, but he didn't think so.  Now he's more open to having a mellower transition because you can see I lose all my speed when I get off the ramp and onto the ground.

The entry is around 65 when we measured it...so we're thinking of bringing it down to 45.  Also the platform is 2ftx2ft which is pretty sketchy to strap into while you're up there. 

Yeah my friend got this from transworld and he said the height of the ladder was 5ft, but he made it 6ft instead...so I was like that's prob what it was.  You extended it a foot taller but kept the run in ramp the same length.  We get enough speed...it's just we're not carrying it through at the bottom.

mmm, 3... I'm riding Bear this year as i relocated for this winter for a few reasons, but going back to Colorado in May and never leaving that glorious summit county again

Bumpin' this back up b/c I'm stoked that it'll actually be worth heading up to the mtns by Monday. This will be the latest start to my season ever! Hopefully, I'll have beaten back this stomach bug I caught a day or so ago. Hooray for snow!
