Do you have the GoPRO HD 1280? or the 960? Cause I just got the 960 and I was wondering if I should just return it and go with the 1280.

Personally id pay for the 1080p, its only 100ish more and you get a a better setting. Although i don't use the 1080p setting that much (mostly 720p @60) but the quality is amazing on it. I don't have the 960 to compare and never used 960 setting, so i can't really compare. Depends how much your willing to spend i guess. If i was to buy another Gopro, id probably go a 960, just so i can get different angles on my bike riding and such.

You never know of these things...I won an NBA sweeps in '05 from an online entry just like this.
42" Plasma, Laptop, Home phone system, printer and digital camera. Took around 2 weeks after I was notified/legal papers signed to receive everything.

My friend last year entered a contest through the redskins for superbowl tickets. She got an email from this woman claiming that she won superbowl tickets, and just kinda brushed over it thinking it was a scam. Then she got a phone call from the same woman who said something along the lines of "normally people start flipping out, and you just kinda ignored us... but yea you actually won superbowl tickets for you and a friend." Flew down with the owners, some big investors, and DeAngelo Hall, which being from Va Tech is pretty sweet. And the two of them being attractive girls, he took them clubbing the two nights before the game, vip tables, bottles of expensive liquor, the whole shebang.

Soon after I got mine I used the suction cup mount to stick in on the top of a backboard while we played ball. About an hour into it it decided to come unstuck. Dropped to the rim, slipped through the net, then bounced off the floor. Roughly 12' up to hardwood, still works just fine.

I rocked my suction cup mount on the car going down the interstate when I first got it. Worked like a charm.
And I second the fact that it doesn't work worth squat on a snowboard. GoPro suggests using one of their adhesive pads on the topsheet. I tried. It lasted about 15 seconds, if that.

i have heard and seen great things about this camera from friends who have it and use it. vids look great. very wide viewing angle (170 degrees i think). i ended up getting the contourHD cam since it had a goggle strap and i don't really wear helmets enough to mount this camera on. but now i'm seeing a bunch of mounting options, so makes me wish i got the gopro instead. |

^^ Did the exact same thing. Contour is good but compared to the Gopro for the same price... It doesn't compete. The fish eye lens just makes it... Awesome.
