So who got stuck in Big Bear this past sunday? Did you get turned around on the 38 and have to face the Vegas traffic coming down the 15? Was it worth the fresh snowfall at the end of day?

 we were on the fence b4 the wkend and bailed at the last min for the sierras...worked out, i guess!

went thursday to snow summit for the day. snow coverage was ok. Snow quality was excellent, Dry powder!
it was unusually cold, high temp at base was 20. I made the mistake of keeping my ipod in my outer pocket in my jacket, My ipod froze midday and refused to work. on the drive down the mountain, halfway down dash temp was 12 degrees!
