probably the best day of the season. it was a bluebird day on sunday and the war of rails was on too. i rode every canyon i could and even hiked a bit to make a few lines. I think i got about 8 hrs of boarding in that day.

i just got back from bear mountain. wasnt bad, seemed like alot of people are not really hitting the mnt hard now that the sun has been shining. their loss your gain.

Thinking of heading up tomorrow and taking my son to Bear. According to the website it's Analog ditch day tomorrow. Any idea what that is? Probably nothing but going on friday to avoid the crowds.

with the coverage they have now. we're expecting at least end of april. keep in mind a wave of hot days could destroy it quick.

this seemed like the most appropriate place to post this.
Bear previously announced via email that their last day would be apr 15th. but this afternoon they announced it was today. kind of a bum deal if you ask me (especially with a storm coming this week). The silver lining though is that bear only passes will be good at snow summit until apr 15th. I doubt the same scale of features will be available but it should suffice for the last few days of the season. |

I doubt it. the operating costs are pretty high to stay open much longer. with bear closed i expect summit to close this weekend as well, especially with the local competition (mt high) closing this weekend.
