How do you guys remove them from the tops of your boards? I received a 5 inch scuff mark but it's not deep, just noticeably white on my maroon board :(.

if its just a scuff, i wouldnt worry at all about it. if you snowboard, you're going to be getting scuffs on the topsheet. even if you get rid of it, you'll get more the next time.

It's not that I worry about it. I've got plenty of them on my other boards. This particular board though I'd like to reduce that one scuff so I can mount it on my wall for display. Figured I'd ask on here before experimenting with car ding removers lol.

Make sure that it won't remove the stuff holding your board together... Like the stopsheet. I tried one of those things once and it melted the top plastic sheet. :)

Its all apart of riding but I cant stand it when scratches and scuffs happen when in line and a skier is hitting the back of your board with their polls and running in the back of you.

I would go with a mild polishing compound if you really wanna remove scuffs. Something like turtle wax polishing compound or Mother's ultimate polishing compound from Kragen's shouldn't harm the top of your board unless you use too much elbow grease. The finer the compound the easier it is on the board's finish.

put on your big boi under-roos and deal with it. at the end of the day, your board is a tool and it'll be covered in snow. or maybe you're sitting at the base of the hill pretending to be gassed and posing with the board. if that's the case the board is trash, buy a new one to improve your crispy steeze level. |

I guess you missed the part where I said "This particular board though I'd like to reduce that one scuff so I can mount it on my wall for display".

Try buffing it out with a car wax (Turtle) and if that doesn't diminish it, have you thought of getting a nail polish? They come in many colors...I'm married so I see the stuff frequently.

I dont think it will buff out. But there are a lot of nice stickers that you can get for free online.

Keep that board at home if you don't want scuff marks, plaster vinyl all over it, avoid riding in the park and stay in tree lines/powder only ..no matter how much you baby a snowboard scratches and gouges will happen.

get a marker that's similar in color or bring your board to a hardware store and have them match the paint for you and fill in the scuff with paint if you really want to.

I think you might just have to mount and display scuffed board. Snowboards get beat up. It's okay.
