So...fishing the audience to see what is the most appropriate location (North or South Tahoe) and ski resort in each area to host a bachelor party.
Ideally, the ski resort would be in close proximity to the casinos and have good SNOWBOARDING terrain. I keep hearing about how Heavenly is not great at all for riders, but maybe I'm just listening to the wrong crowd. |

There is a HUGE strip club building I know of in downtown Reno called the Wild Orchid. The church I go to is a stone's throw away from the strip club. Interesting, I know.
I've never been there, but the advertisements they have are all pretty scandalous. It'd be worth a shot for you guys to check it out. Or heck, there are plenty of brothels in Nevaduh too.

There are no strip clubs in North Lake or South Lake. Reno does have a couple.
South shore has bigger casinos than the North and that's also where all the night clubs are.
Heavenly has terrain for everyone.

I would go with Heavenly.
Heavenly and South Lake Tahoe has the casinos, night clubs, and great ski-town feel, though probably a little over-priced. Northstar, if you stay in Truckee or Tahoe City will allow you to access Reno 45 mins away. Truckee and Tahoe City are much smaller towns but you should still be able to find trouble making activities.

I would say SLT and the bigger/better casinos and nightclubs, go to Heavenly or rent a car and go riding, skip the titty bars (whatever those are) and hire a couple of girls for a private show in your hotel room...just an idea

Reno is more bachelor party territory. But it is like a homeless man's vegas so that's kind of depressing. So your only real option is heavenly. You can walk to the gondola from the casinos. The resort isn't that great as it is the buisiest lift lines and has the worst snow in tahoe, but it is huge and has good terrain. More skier territory though as you will likely have to strap out or skate long distances occasionally.

South Lake Tahoe without a doubt. Heavenly is not the greatest but if party comes first, it should have enough to keep you entertained. You can always drive down the road to Kirkwood if you need a better quality snowboarding fix.

I'm gonna vote Heavenly also; honestly, i prefer riding at Sierra, but if you're there to party I'd stay down at Stateline, get some riding in and go rage. Heavenly is huge, it's gonna be a blast (especially if you've never ridden there). then go to whichever casino you want and just live it up brah!!

Well, how close are we talking?
North star connects to north lake tahoe via 267 and has incline village about 30 minutes form there with all the casinos and a pretty good night life at stale line. and then that way you have access to Northstar, alpine and squaw.. all about 30 minites away in different directions. Reno is about 45 minutes away from tahoe but if you stayed there you can do about 30 minutes to Mt rose. and then of course heavenly does have the South lake casinos and all that stuff very close. |

if you wanna stay in south lake, then Heavenly is probably the best bet, but no strippers/hookers.
if you want strippers/hookers, stay at Reno and ride Northstar or Squaw.

I agree with most on this post. Heavenly is great for riding even though some people say it's not. SLT has SO much more night life than north lake.

I'm a Tahoe local competitive snowboarder and I am also a stripper that specializes in bachelor parties in the Tahoe area. No need to make the trek to Reno and pay $25 door fee and $11 per drink, my girlfriends and I come to you! Plus we offer girl on girl toy shows which is something you're not gonna see at the strip clubs. South Lake Tahoe is defiantly a great spot for bachelor parties since it does offer more nightlife, but I am not a fan of Heavenly. I always prefer snowboarding at Squaw. Squaw is the place to be in the spring when the pool and hot tub open at High Camp. You can always stay in South Lake and ride at Squaw or Kirkwood, it's not that far and it's a scenic drive.

Ha Ha this is awesome!
Mt. Rose is good for intermediates, but it is much smaller compared to the other Tahoe resorts, especially Heavenly. Rose is also good for advanced/expert riders if you get into The Chutes, and with the storms coming in next week The Chutes should be good again very very soon!

have you heard about the pint-glass chutes across the street from the resort man? On the backside of fireplug/fire hydrant, whatever it's called. Similar terrain and aspect but obviously not avy controlled. If we get a super safe day those need to get ripped

SLT/heavenly ftw. You can wake up any time, hungover, (throw-up), eat brkfst/lunch and walk to the gondola. If you wake up late enough, buy a half day ticket at discount (I've done that many times). Don't believe all the so-called "expert rider" heavenly bashers on here - it's a giant resort and has everything you need to have fun snowboarding.
reno might be a better party spot, but you have to know what you're doing (research the good stuff and skip all the low-class sh!t). The resorts are all a good drive away, mt. rose being the closest at 30 min. If you're hungover and don't wanna drive (or wanna drink/sleep on the way to and from), shuttles are an option (squaw is free)...but then you're on a schedule and have to wake up relatively early - not as laid-back. |

if you go to incline village on the north side, you get the nice hyatt w/ casino and all the party goodness that it brings and you are right next to diamond peak, which is right on the lake and has great, cheap drinks up top! did someone order a tahoe tonic?!?

Downtown Reno if you want to go buck wild... Wild Orchid is the best... haha. Easy to walk around to places since you should be drunk off your ass. Also some of the places have shuttles to Heavenly, Mt Rose, ETC.
If you are a Skier you could try heavenly... Embassy suites is literally a 45 second walk to the Gondola, and they have a pretty good free breakfast along with a free open bar from 4:30-6:30. Also, you can walk to Harrah's, Harvey's, etc. The trails are a bit narrow for snowboarders at Heavenly... imo |

The Pearl is coming eventually to where Bills used to be. It will be a strip club in the back, not visible from Hwy 50.
