I'm totally getting my money's worth on the subscription!
They released another quick 15min vid today, this one going more in depth on 180s. I'm really getting pumped for next season! |

Or, instead of him spending $40 on the videos and them donating $8 to the cause, he could just donate $10 directly to the cause and it will get more and he will spend less...

New video in the subscribing area...360s. There already was one, but this is supposed to be better. Downloading now so haven't viewed yet, but I did watch the new 180 vid and it is indeed better then the old spin vid, so I'm expecting good things from this one.
Oh, and the email said next up they will have vids on front flips and back flips!

They released another video in the subscribers section. a short 15min vid called intermediate jibbing which covers 50-50 with front/back 180 out, front/back boardslides and front/back lipslides.
Not their best videos to date, but at this point my subscription has paid for itself, so anything new is just bonus!

Just a heads up to everyone here. Snowboardaddiction.com is offering 20% off their dvds and downloadable content. Enter discount code "christmas" at check out. And no, this is not spam. I got the freestyle program from them and really like the videos. They've helped big time. I couldn't get front boards down, until I saw the video and realized my body positioning was all wrong. Check 'em out gang, you won't be sorry.

I watched the "Learn to Snowbaord" video with my 8 year old in the morning before we headed up to the hill for her first time this season (second time ever). It's got some good on strapped in on carpet exercises that helped out a lot moving around when we got up to the hill.

I bought a membership two years ago with a friend at work and we both really enjoyed them. Well worth the money, especially if you split it with others. i still watch them once in a while, in particular just before the season starts up. Never hurts to reinforce certain tips or tricks mentally before you're out there.

I got the DVD set last season. They are very well put together and cover a lot of material. The price for the download version is better then the actual discs, and the quality is great. You just have to pick Regular or Goofy instead of being able to switch between the 2 like you can on the DVDs. My 9 year old is Goofy so it works well for both of us. Still watch them as a refresher at the beginning of the season!
I had an issue with a couple of the DVDs not playing in an older DVD player so I contacted them and they got right back to me, and offered to send me a new disc or let me download the one that wasn't working. Top notch service! Wish I would have kept up on the membership as they have added some great new vids, like front flips.

I also bought a membership a year ago! The best and more thorough snowboarding tutorial videos out there, IMO. I love the fact that videos are offered in regular or goofy stance. I also love that they always creative exercises and things to do on the mtn and at home to help reinforce muscle memory.
These videos aren't only for intermediate (and up) riders, the super nooby first time beginner videos are extremely helpful as well! Very easy to understand and basic language for beginners to understand the dynamics of carving. Gotta love them! |

It seems like a while since we last posted in here. The Learn to Ride and Intermediate Ride program are separate from the Freestyle package.
What is included in the Freestyle package is: SA Intro to Freestyle SA Intermediate Freestyle SA Halfpipe & Handplants SA Getting Upside Down SA Buttery Stuff SA Riding POW SA Jibbing Vol 2 SA Jumping Vol 2 (Also there is the Data Disc that you can download after purchase) The Vol 1's of the last two videos tutorials have now been updated hence Vol 2. A Lot of our latest videos are now out on subscription like Corked Spins and coming soon Rodeos Hope this helps you guys out as these are a great price and cheaper than having to take lessons on the mountain... Thanks Snowboard Addiction Team :-) |
