So my friends and I have been working on a summer setup to ride over the next few weeks, but the current problem is that we can only ride during the night, because we all have work during the day.
Usually we film our setups with a Gopro HD Hero, but maybe due to the small lens, it kind of sucks at filming night scenes, even with decent light. Does anyone have any suggestions how we might overcome this problem, or cameras that are particularly good at filming night riding? |

you could get creative with you riding and camerawork and maybe do a neon edit. would look pretty sick.get some christmas lights, or some form of glowingness, and attach it to yourself and your boards. also you could light up the features with similar lights as well, kinda how they did it in the DC video a while back with their night shoot.
i know that gopros are pretty terrible at night, but good riding can speak for itself in any lighting condition. |

A cheap solution would be to buy a couple of cheap mini-maglites from Target or Walmart or whatever and tape them to your helmet to light up the area in front of the helmet. Not the prettiest or best solution, but it should work.......maybe.

LED Bike lights do a good job for small area omni lighting. U can set them up to be on all the time or flashing =)

Don't approach a goat from the front, a horse from the back, or a fool from any side..
