Suggestions: Euro vacation for Christmas/New Years

I am looking to plan a trip for a group of about 6 (3 girls/guys)to somewhere outside of the States. Was thking the Alps; have already been all over the US and Canada.
We are all in our 30's; looking for a classy resort but not anything snooty...just fun, good conditions and people our age.

We can spend some money, but we arent looking for the most expensive options either. We are all intermediate level riders/skiers.

Id say 3k all-in for about a week; 3-4 days of lift tickets?
Ideally id liek to get it in under 2500.
I just looked at flights to Switzerland, France and Italy and they all came in around 650 from NYC.
I think the best time for us to go is a day or two after Christmas and come back on the 2nd or 3rd.

I think our biggest concern is going somewhere where there are less families and more young people/singles.

buy now the euro is down low now. Look at St. anton Austria. Close to other resorts too.
