I'm an instructor and so will try get some work somewhere but dont know where is best to go. I like riding steeps and getting amongst some gnar.. Any advice would be gratefully recieved... Oh P.S cheapest places in terms of living and season passes would be best

Look into the interior of BC. the Okanagan can be a little pricey, but has some good snow See Big White, Silverstar, Apex, Revelstoke, and the Kootenys are always fun to ride. See Red Mtn, White Water, Fernie. Hope this helps a bit.

l know canada has pretty leanet work permits but the only thing is l think in canada, you can only look in the west end. like alberta or BC. montreal is a consideration but still l would say it isnt comparable in size.

Kicking Horse and Revelstoke have some of the most difficult terrain in North America, and I believe both of them are on the cheaper side out in Western Canada. You shouldn't look more easterly than Calgary in my opinion. There are a ton of Aussies at Sun Peaks and Big White, but they are more family oriented(although I loved Sun Peaks last year, great resort). Whistler would be too expensive based on what you posted above.

Yea stay out west. Lots of great resorts there. Eastern Canada is really cold and icy conditions if you're into that but would not recommend the eastside.

It's a different cold. East is much colder than the west. Plus it's more icy so it's no fun.

baldface in interior bc would be sweet, but if it were me i would try for whistler. the popularity of the mountain and the money it draws in would probably be a good life as an instructor.
