Northstar is closed

Since February 25th Although, I did make it out to Crested Butte, CO over Spring Break. They still had enough snow to hike the peak, don't get me wrong, it was rocky but it beat St. Louis' 90 degree weather with about 75% humidity every day...I can't wait until I get out to Utah for college.

Sierra at Tahoe is open until Monday, April 23 which is customer appreciation day ($25 lift tix and limited lift access open from 10-2).

Closed and even it if wasn't then it would all be slush by now or dirt by the weekend.

Alpine Meadows: Open daily through April 29, then open for three-day weekends Fridays-Sundays through May 13.

Donner Ski Ranch: Open until the snow is gone, probably through May.

Heavenly: Open April 15 and then for three-day weekends Fridays-Sundays through April 29.

Kirkwood: Open daily through April 22, then a three-day weekend Friday-Sunday through April 29.

Mammoth Mountain: Open through May 28, or later if there's still snow.

Sierra-at-Tahoe: Open through April 22.

Squaw Valley: Open daily through April 29.

Sugar Bowl: Open daily through April 29.

Mountains here closed really early

most of us in CA live in the valley where there really isn't a "real winter", compared to anything east of the rocky mtns.  Anything north of Los Angeles mostly just gets temps down to maybe the low 40s and the occasional rain storm which can last one to a few days.  What we do have is fairly high altitude (9000 ft) within a couple hrs drive and those rain storms encounter temps up there just cold enough to snow. Actually, daytime temps rarely get much below freezing even up there...it's weird.

^Ikr? There was no snow and it was an unusually warm winter. Hope next year brings a better season :)

Squaw closed due to lightning today... neat-o and bummer.

Hasn't been much snow this season, all the resorts are closing early :(

we're really getting shafted in socal over hear. last season started late and ended early, and pretty much crappy snow conditions all season except for like 2 weeks when there was a big blizzard

Here in Colorado, Abasin is open, Loveland is open, Copper opened today and Keystone opened today!!
