This happened to my friend too! only the ending of the story wasn't so happy. He actually fell off and broke his wrist pretty bad. had to get surgery on it. |

I was at my local mountain over the weekend and was riding up the park lift to do some laps and there was the guy teaching his 4 yr old how to "pizza" on the main terrain park.(one of the most annoying things in my thought). Well the kid somehow started to go a little to fast and got away from his dad. He dad was yelling for him to "WEDGE, WEDGE". Well, I guess this kid forgot how to. He didn't stop and went right into the trees. I felt bad for laughing but it was pretty damn funny.

the father is teaching the kid to pizza aka 360? wedge lol. Father should totally get a spandex to hold onto the kid so that problem wont occur

My brother and I never use the safety bars at Bear Mountain. One day it was a bit windy and he asked me if we should use it. I laughed and said no. Right then a gust of wind blew through. We looked at the ground then at the sky then at the ground etc. We used the safety bar after that.
Way back when I was a noob I got the little glove cinch thing caught on the lift but didn't realize it until I tried to get off. I got dragged almost to the edge before the lift stopped. The glove didn't break though - score 1 for Foursquare. |

that should be done at the magic carpet...or at least the short green runs if there's no magic carpet at the resort. that dumb dad is going to get his kid killed....

the other day my buddy and i got on the lift with a chick who was traveling with a group from the UK, we got a little convo going on with and about 3/4s of the way up the lift the girl is in mid sentence my buddy blurts out... "i want to F*** your accent." i face palmed lol the girl turned beat red and it was a silent lift ride after that haha

these two guys were taunting this poor skiier that fell and got stuck in pow on a windy day and then next thing i know; one of them falls off. (into pow of course so he wasnt seriously injured i hope)

Wow, your buddy is smooth. A few years ago I was at Aspen Highlands with my buddy. Halfway through the day he took off for a break and I kept riding. Later he caught up to me and told me his story. After his break he took the Exhibition chair up and the guy next to him was talking really fast and making funny/crazy observations about people - what they were wearing, how bad some of the skiers/snowboarders were, etc. As they were getting off the lift it finally hit him that this funny guy was Robin Williams (the comedian). Instead of taking the next chair up to the peak my buddy boarded with Robin Williams on a couple runs and said he was better than he expected him to be.

i got on the chair lift with these two girls. while we were waiting for the lift at the line, they were in deep conservation. so the girl next to me didn't realize the lift was just come from right behind us. caught her off guard and threw her off balance. While she was falling, I literally had to pick her butt up onto the lift. lol. she really appreciated me grabbing her butt and my girl can't even get mad at me bout me grabbing some other girl's butt. |
