Bulls played some solid basketball as a team. Definitely a good win even if it is against the Kings. If we can keep this type of play up, we should have no problem making playoffs.

I'm pretty sure you can count the number of players that went to Princeton from the NBA on your hand. Imho, I don't think it matters what offense a team runs, but as long as they execute well. The Princeton shows similarities to the Triangle, I don't see why they don't just run that again... Interesting to see Nash actually playing with a high caliber big man, after making every big he plays with look like an all star, and also Dwight with a starting 5 that doesn't camp out at the 3 point line.

Provided Rose doesn't re-injure his knee. He can't keep slashing at the rim forever, he has to develop his jumper much faster. He's explosive for sure, but that doesn't last too long in the NBA, that's why you saw Jordan and Kobe develop their J.

I think the Bulls are a playoff team even without Rose, but they obviously need him to have any legit title shot. And I hope he keeps slashing to the hoop, because it's fun to watch.

LMFAO at the Uncle Drew vid...."DON'T JUMP YOUNG BLOOD!!!"
Can't believe that was K. Love. He doesn't play like that in the games
LA go 0-10 so far including pre-season. I'd like to see them go 0-30 before they win their 1st game

Did anyone else see that ESPN magazine had Denver winning the west this year? I'm a Nuggets fan and even I think that's ridiculous. We might be the 4th or 5th best team in the West at best.

Uncle Drew Part 1 is pretty funny too hah. LA 0-30? I hope they don't need THAT much time to learn how to play together...pretty sad. |

I just read this piece on CP3 and Dwight Howard and how they wanted to play together and why it didn't happen. It's all because of Howard not being able to make up his mind. They could have been playing for my Mavs... Now I dislike Dwight even more...

That would of really changed up the league alright. Kinda nuts to think that Howard, Dirk and CP3 would of all been on the same team. Sucks for you since you're a Mavs fan, but I kinda like CP3 on the Clippers with Blake. Anyways, Bulls rolled on the Cavs, but I'm sure we all seen that coming. Everyone stepped up and played great.

Nash is out already only 3 games into the season? Poor Lakers, guess they'll need the rest of their allstar team to step up.

Im not feeling what the lakers are throwing together. Ya i know you could give me the it takes time argument but hustle has been a reoccuring issue with the lakers and... People need to admit how dramatically kobe has fallen off as he ages. He still gets his points but not in the same moments, not in the same way. Nash has nobody to run with-i dont know, i just dont think itll go well-i hope im wrong

James Harden is playing crazy good! Not like he wasn't before with the Thunder, I'm still sad it didn't work out for him to stay there.
My NBA fantasy draft was auto-draft... I didn't pay close enough attentions and I picked up 3 players that are out and 2 that are day-to-day. Ugh

D. Rose's return all depends on how good the Bulls play for playoff contention. If they suck I don't see Rose coming back this season. However if they are good, Rose coming back could be an advantage or a disadvantage. I would love to see him back but not at the expense of his career. IMO he should wait till next season to come back just to be safe.
I don't understand why every time the Lakers put together a supposed super team they decide to run a Princeton offense. It never worked when Malone/Payton joined the Lakers so why would it work know? Anyhow if they don't win tonight's game vs the Pistons it might be time to hit the panic button. Wizards bench > Lakers bench!!! |

Warriors hit my the injury bug again. Rush out for the rest of the season. Smh.
But on a lighter note, warriors are in 1st and the lakers last in the division. That's just weird. It's early but a good start so far. |

The clippers are fun to watch. If odom can revitalize his career and billups can get healthy they have a chance, i think, to definitely make the conference finals at least

I don't know if Odom can revitalize a lackluster career... sure he's been on some championship clubs but his game wasn't one to ever get excited about, even less exciting than his personal life.

Well you're right in that odom has been a perennial underachiever even in his best times but he did leave the lakers as the sixth man of the year-his talent can be enough to make him a really effective player even dispite his unwillingness to maximize his potential

Watched a bit of the OKC/TOR game last night. It carried a lot less excitement than when i was watching the Thunder in the playoffs.
They played well, of course, but i think it is just that early-season lack of urgency that took away from the overall enjoyment of the game. |

yeah, the regular season is too long. the early games don't seem to mean much. making the season shorter would make each game more important and therefore, more exciting.

It's painful to watch their games and believing they can win because they're a good team....and then they don't. But in reality, they are only 5 games into season...they have a lot of time to get their shiiii together. |

^5 games may not seem like much to us but that's not ok with a franchise that's used to winning. Its no wonder there's rumours of Jerry Sloan as the soon to be replacement of Brown.

^ just because you have good players doesn't mean you have a good team. the players need to learn to play together and the coach needs to know how to fully utilize each player's talent. the lakers just aren't doing either right now. they need to take lessons from the dallas mavericks and how they're winning with more new players than returning players. brand new starting lineup last night, and still winning without their star player.

Hahaha well that didn't take long. Goodbye Coach Brown. Sucks that he got the blame for it, and not the divas that play for him, but so it goes sometime. I look forward to the next chapter of the real housewives of LA.

That was an extremely fast push of the purple panic button. 0-8 preseason followed by an 0-3 start, he must have had a feeling something was going to happen if he didn't right the ship quickly.

Tough situation for Brown to come in and coach defense to a team that's just all about offense. Maybe bring in Jerry Sloan but I'm hearing that it might be D'antoni.

Wow... Fail on the Lakers part IMO. Why bother keeping him this summer if they are going to panic this early in the season?
After that great showing against OKC in the playoffs, why not ditch him right then and there? The timing just seems wierd to me.

Shit happens, but they did what they had to do. Considering they have a solid all star line up for the most part, there really isn't any reason they should be starting out this bad. I think it's a smart move by them to bring in a new coach. Better to do it now then before their record gets worse.

Mike brown is an intelligent guy-evidence is in his speech and analysis of the game that LA people hear when he's on the radio. I just dont think he's any good at player management which is more what the nba is about.

wow, that was fast. i thought they would hold off a little longer before getting rid of brown. you could see something wasnt right though, it didnt look like a team with potential who was still getting used to playing together. they didnt look like they were improving so i guess something needed to be done and they have hit the panic button before it gets too far into the season.
