Possibly...especially with the line up of players they have. It's so hard to watch them struggle like this! |

Warriors got the Clippers number. Winning 3/4. Possible playoff match up. Just hope warriors can stay healthy.

I know the season is moving along, but it always seems hard for me to make prediction of who is/isn't going to make the playoffs or who is going to go far, when it is January. Still so much season left, and it seems that players and teams don't show their true colors until March/April.

Lakers fans should want to trade Howard, especially if they can get anything for him. He's not going to re-sign with the lakers, maybe they can somehow get cousins or Evans from sacremento, not likely though.

Warriors pull out the win against OKC! wooooo what a game. KD was just poopin on us for a while, but damn what a hard fought win and what a CLUTCH steal by curry though he wasn't clutch on a ton of his threes. Still a great win.

Woaaah, the warriors beat OKC? Also beat the Heat, Clippers, etc. Legit team they got there in Oakland.

it makes sense for the lakers to trade him now so that they'll at least get something back for him. otherwise, he'll be a free agent after the season and the lakers will get nothing. i'm sure there are teams out there that will take him and give the lakers a bunch of serviceable players.

As much I hate this idea, it's probably the best. Lakers has got to learn to cut their losses. No way Howard is coming back to this mess of a team. |

Agreed. I didn't see this rumor (sounds like an LA rumor, since they benefit the most). There is no reason for Minn to even get involved in that, unless there are a lot of draft picks and cash coming their way as part of it. In which case, that might make it work for them, since they aren't going to go very far with 1 star.

^ and Kevin Love is injured..so he's not going to help the Laker this year. Don't think the Lakers will just give the year away like that... They'll want somebody that can help them get in the playoffs right now. Maybe DeMarcus Cousins of the Sacramento Sonics?

I don't see why anyone would want to trade for Howard. He's a free agent at the end of the year, and most competing teams can't take him on because of the cap hit.

mark cuban would do it..because he missed the boat on deron williams..a trade would seal the deal and not have to rely on the hope that he'll be able to get a big-name player off free agency to help dirk.

best thing? admit they're wrong and hire phil jackson. they have the players to play the triangle. dwight will be happy because the offense will run through him. kobe already showed he can win championships in that system. gasol and artest also played well in the triangle. i'm sure nash can adapt too and can be the outside outlet shooter. doubly dangerous because he can still dish or drive after he gets the outlet pass.

^^^ if they do that Dantoni has the best contract ever signed . . . AND they'll still be paying Mike Brown (or as we called him in Cleveland "Mr. Potato Head"). it's a true thing of beauty

That's what u get when u let your stupid son run things. Wasted all this money on dumb coaches that weren't the right fit in the first place. Kobe won't let the offense run through Dwight, he already established that awhile ago. That won't change

The problem with the lakers is Kobe got old. I doubt buss would admit he was wrong and hire phil. It doesn't help that Kobe has a $28 million cap hit.

Rondo's a stud, and they're saying that he won't be back until all star break next year. If i'm a celtics fan i'd want them to just tank it, this years draft class is pretty weak but the 2014 class looks like the 2003 draft in potential.

There is no chance that Rondo is out until next all-star break. Unless he did a lot more than just tear his ACL, which is what ESPN said.
I've had friends come back from ACL tears a lot quicker than that with no professional help, or in this case a professional sports teams training staff/doctors. |

If your the celtics do you really want to risk bringing him back early so you can maybe sneak into that 8th seed? While AP is the exception, the dude's a physical freak.

MTpow is right, your friend's ACL prob wasn't used as aggressively as these pro athletes. Plus there are different grades of ACL tears: full, partial tear. So just saying ACL tear, which no one knows how severe except the physicians, doesn't tell you anything. You're basing your opinion off of ESPN, which you have no idea where they got their info

Particularly in basketball there is so much pressure on ankles and knees to make sudden changes of direction. A huge win by the Celtics over the Heat to break their losing streak but it's hard to get excited knowing Rondo is out for the season

Bogut played today as the warriors pulled one out against the raptors. I thought he played well for this being his first game back. Some productive numbers and DEFENSE! Sadly, Curry sprained his ankle again... Hopefully he's not out long, but I doubt he'll be able to play tomorrow or at least management is gonna sit him. Damn those ankles. gotta stay healthy. I'm excited to have this full team healthy and fit if its possible
