Can anyone comment on this? Are they similar (so it seems)? I want the Cartels but they're only available in grey (don't like) and the Shaka has more colour options at local shop - both 40% off.
Malavitas are also available in green $15 more than Cartels (as an option). Thoughts and comments are much appreciated in advance. Cheers...

i dont mean to be a smartass here but, if you want the cartels why dont you order them online from a site that has your desired color in stock. I know the feeling of wanting to support your local shop because i want to do it as well... but you shouldnt have to settle buy what you want dont drop 200 bucks on a binding your not going to like when you can get the binding you like in that color online or at another shop.

Thnx man! I actually found them at another shop. My colour (black restricted)!
So it's all good. Got them for $161 on Boxing day!  To answer your Q, it's cost too much to buy on line and import to Canada and/or ship deliver in short period of time. So best if local shops have them on sale. if not, i then look for online sale. Cheers... |

from when l was looking at those 2 when l was getting my free building from TS(yay) the cartel are a bit stiffer, all around. Shaka are good too but they are more park oreinted from the reviews at least. They do have the living hindge technology also which is suppose to give a better board feel and flex
