As an example, i think the a tuscany tower room for this weekend runs close to $130. You're saving at least $50 bucks if you include the resort credit!

Another option for a cheap Reno stay is the Grand Sierra Resort. They're not exactly close to anything but they are pretty cheap, have cheap/free shows and have a big bowling alley open 24/7 and the icing on the cake an outdoor driving range where you drive the balls into a small lake.
(I do a mean Happy Gilmore drive)

Don't forget that you might win a sub if you hit it perfectly into one of those baskets out there!
Don't stay the in regular rooms though - I felt they were kinda grungy. The Summit Rooms are much better.
