Hi,
when trying to find out a board's waist (or just any other) width, do I need to measure the edge-to-edge distance on the top or on the base of the board? Thanks in advance! Greetings from Germany |

The widest part of the narrowest part of the board. So edge to edge on the base.
Really if its to help people out, maybe its better to measure the middle, the nose/tail width AND the width at the inserts since thats where their feet are. Its pure convention that people use waist width but just think about it and youll see why that doesnt give altogether great information (unless youre using the new burton mono channel and have your bindings smack bang in the middle of the board for shits and giggles) due to the variations in sidecut radii.
