I am coming up fast on my 1500 point for TruSnow and that means I get a free pair of goggles up to $100. I wanted to see if anyone had any good picks that the site has for under 100.
I looked around and checked a few good ones out but want a little help. I am at 1440 right now so it will take me a few more weeks to get up to 1500. YaYa |

It's too bad you write shitty reviews and have 10 spammed reviews, you would have reached 1500 points and received your goggles weeks ago if you had written 10 quality reviews.

You should probably get one of the Electric Goggles, like the Electric EG 2.5, or Giro Roots goggles because they have cool lenses :)

Electric eg2's. they are over $100 but worth only paying a few extra bucks for. I'm a big fan of electrics goggles tho. Just my .02

EG or Hawkeye are nice choices, but you should go try them out first to see if they even fit your face.

ironic that you lay into him for writing crappy reviews, yet your post has absolutely NOTHING to do with the question he posted. i'd spam you if i were a moderator. i'd go with anything oakley. i've had poor experiences with other brands, and optical clarity of oakleys is better than other brands.

When I hit 1500, I went with Oakley Crowbars (Seth Morrison colourway was available at the time). I'm a big fan of Oakley's line... Crowbar, Splice, or Airbrake. I also own a couple Electric EG2 goggles as well, they're very nice too.

Not quite true, my post references his desire for free goggles and the fact that he would have reached 1500 points by now if he had written good reviews instead of shitty reviews which were all spammed and now he cannot write another review. Ohhhh, spam my post.... Good thing you're not a mod, eh? ![]() So once the guy with the shitty reviews does hit 1500 points... what's your preference with goggles? Do you like large, oversized goggles (Electric EG2)? Do you want to be able to swap lenses quickly (Oakley Airbrake)? Do you want goggles that cost $100 or less so you just have to pay the shipping? Everyone has an opinion, your best bet is go to a shop and try on the various goggles to see how they feel. Oakley Crowbars pinch my nose, Oakley Splices do not. Try them on, see what you like, buy them. |

Check out a few goggles that you like on the web site. And then it would be a good idea to go to a shop & try on some goggles to make sure you get the best fit for your face.

I wanted to get the Eg2's so I went to a snowboard shop to see how they fit. I asked the girl working there if I can try them on and she brought me EGB goggles.. I tried them on and I decide not to get them. I went back to try them on and they feel so great... This confirms my theory that she gave me the wrong goggles!

I picked up the Hawkeye when I got my freebie! I loved it. My second choices would be Electric EG2 and then Oakleys. |

Obviously get the one that is most expensive.
Whatever you do, do not get the one that fits your face the best and has the lens that fills your needs.

I'm pretty sure they'll give you the hundy towards something more expensive if you want something that goes over. I personally love my Von Zipper Feenoms. Wish I would have gotten them here because I'm pretty sure they still come with a replacement lens (for low light). Best goggles I've ever owned, but then again, it's the most expensive by about $100.

I got the Oakley Splice, cost a few extra bucks for certain colorway. I just picked the most common one, Black with Persimmon Lenses, great for all conditions. Any who, I got a low bridge line and it fit me great.

<-- <-- Me too. super huge. a bit of a fogging issue if you're not moving (waiting for slow pokes), the dark lense is REALLY dark (not a bad thing if you're in bright sun though), 3.5 out of 5 stars for the optic quality (my other goggles are the Smith I/O, so i'm pretty biased when it comes to optical clarity). UBER comfy!! the triple layer foam is legit. a little bit of a nose pinch that i didn't expect, but over all awesome. I paid sub $20 for them to get in my greedy little mitts.
Edit: holy crap, how could i forget to mention how freekin sweet these things look! The steeze man, the steeze!!

Like SnowJ720 I have VZ Feenoms and they freakin rock. Hard to beat the fact that they come with 2 lenses. I didn't try em on first, just picked em up bc they were cheap, and I got lucky they fit me ok.

how about you make use of the free 100 bucks and buy something that actually fits your face instead of doing an impulse buy... everyone on here has a different face... so the frame the like may not work for you. go try some on first.
