just another overhang question

I don't like the plastic toe-piece (gas pedal in the Burton parlance) overhang and would consider moving that back in a notch to get the full baseplate over the deck.  (I'm not familiar with these bindings but it looks like you have some room to play with).  I can't really tell whether you've centered your boots from the pics but it seems like it, honestly I usually have more problem bumping my heelcup than anything else so I usually shift a screw-hole toward toeside like it appears you've done here.  As you're playing with your bindings, don't underestimate the potential effect of both widening your stance and/or adjusting your angles a few degrees out, both can play a major role in getting your dogs tucked back over your board.  Good luck

Looks improved.  If there's any problem with your heelcup position you'll notice it as a washing-out-type issue on heelside carves when you get perpendicular to the fall line, and that is what would be corrected by moving forward.  Hopefully that doesn't happen.  Enjoy yer shred!

I got overhang on both of my toes and heels. I don't have any problems with it, as I think every rider got their own perfect balance on each board! People can call it for rubish what I just say, but that is how I feel about my gear when snowboarding :)

I guess, I'll just have to play around with the setup this weekend. I'm glad none of you guys has considered the overhang to be too bad to ride the board yet! The problem with the first setup was, that even after having shortened the toe ramp as much as possible, I still had it hanging over the edge of my right binding, as it still added about an inch in length. You can see that pretty well in the second picture of the first setup where the actual base of the binding almost touches the edge. If one added even as little as one inch, we would have overhang. That's why I think I'll have to go with the second setup despite the fact that I liked the first one more as it seemed to be centered better on the board!
