Donald Says: So now you're ready to step it up and start riding in the terrain parks? The Fuse is your perfect choice for doing just that. The flex pattern of the fuse is nice and forgiving, so learning to jump and jib is effortless. It has a dual progressive side cut, so it gives the snowboard a real lively feel. Having an extruded base and biaxial laminates, this board is also going to be super durable; it will for sure take the beating of hard landings and the abuse of jibs.

I bought this board before the season started. Sad that I didn't get it during the bindings package sale at Sierra
But eh whatever I have used it the last 3 weekends straight and I'll be using it again this sat, and I must say... This board is very very sweet. It's hard to find something that I don't like about it, it's pretty light to me (I ride a 155), soft and flexible which good since I'm still learning the ropes a bit. Other than the fact that it's not a powder killer, it's still a great board. I know I'll use this board for a long long time
Great board for a person that wants to stop renting and is learning to go freestyle Edited by JeffSoSavvy - Jan/19/2007 at 9:40am |

okay, after a almost full season of using the board I wanted to review this board once more with a more extensive one. Rather than edit my post I think it's best to do a before and after thoughts.
Like I said in my previous comment, this board is a great board. Though I now must say, after comparing with other intermediate entry level freestyle boards, that it is a bit heavier than other boards of it's type and style. It's more durable and can take punishment from someone that is still learning the ropes around the park (jibs, rails and boxes), as well as small kickers and tabletops. Other than the little knicks and scrapes both on the top sheet and on the base, the board still preforms well.
I also still feel that this is a good board to ride and learn to do things safely at a nice speed, but also still have fun while doing so. And though I said that it's strength is in a park and groomers, if you set up back more on the board you can handle some powder pretty well.
A little warning though. If you go out quite a bit though, you may out progress the board and will want something a bit more agressive. Nonetheless it's a good board to have in your quiver for a couple of years.
It's a good priced board if you can find one, and for big booters that are looking for a first board this is a solid choice
