-Support our ACTIVE community members

-Support users that are online and involved for the giveaway

-Make it quicker, don’t draw it out.

-Don't allow people to set up multiple accounts
-Do it during east coast business hours when people are still at work.

WHEN: Wednesday @ 1:00 (pacific) PLEASE NOTE THE TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED FROM 3:00 AND IT’S 1:00 PACIFIC TIME (WEST COAST)

 

WHAT:  We are going to set you loose in the snowboard and ski shop to find a hidden image.  One of our items picture will be replaced with a new scanvenger hunt image.  The first person to find the image, copy it, and paste it back into the OFFICIAL "Today's Burton Snowboard Winner" Forum Wins this New Burton Retro Twin Snowboard….

 

Those of your who are more familiar with our sites navigation will benefit.

Those of you who are familiar with how to post forum topics will benefit

Those of you who visit the site at 1:00 on Wednesday will benefit (damn good odds)

 

HOW:  At 1:00 the hidden image will be uploaded to one of the products in either the Snowboard Shop or Ski Shop.  A new forum will be set up in the Board Room titled “Today's Burton Snowboard Winner"  Whoever finds the image and past it into that forum first wins.

I noticed it's nearly impossible for Fire Fox users to copy and paste pics in the forum reply box. I suggest using Internet Explorer when trying to post pics for all you Fire Fox users when participating in the hunt.

yeah, we'll put a sample up, but it won't be an exact image...can't leave any room for those sly photoshop users who will try and beat the system...

A Vaio notebook with both Firefox and IE. The Firefox didnt work at all and the IE worked once. It seems that if I copy the picture from someone elses post it works fine, but if I try to copy it from the store site I get the red X. Come wednesday, I'm screwed if I dont figure it out.

So what happens when you highlight the image using Firefox, then right click >copy then go to the Forum and right click >paste?
