ugh i cant make heads or tails of the road conditions report on mt high. will i be needing snow chains if i'm taking 15n to 138 to 2 to get to mt high? i dont even have any and it would totally ruin my plans for tomorrow night.

well its says thats it clear now. should check back tomorrow during the day to see if chains are required. 95% of the time you wont need chains to get up there. ive only used chains once and that was 2 seasons ago when we got dumped on. but its always wise to bring chains with you.

alright cool, i figured out that 2 is closed west of big pines so it should be fine. i have no clue on the chains though since i dont own any. where would i buy them for cheap?

im going on monday after school. do any of you guys know how long the 2 will stay closed for? i go to school in la canada, and i think it would be a lot easier just to go up the 3 to mt high.

same here, i get there 730-745 ish (if no one lags) and usually leave 1 or 2, 3 the latest. thats the longest i can go without lunch. haha. what do you ride? i rock an 05 custom x with an eesa active die and a smilie face sticker with 05 gray cartels. usually stay on roadrunner lift if im teaching friends.
