I've ridden it 3 times. It's as new as a board that can be ridden 3 times can be.
If I have to ship, the cost will be 2 bills + whatever it is to ship.
Let me know if you're interested.

Wow, I was just about to make a thread asking about one of these...
actually I was thinking Malolo 162 or Option Northshore 162 for
northwest powder days, but this might be better.
6'1, 200lbs - think this would be a good addition to my K2 Darkstar 160? Also, any ideas about how much it might be to ship to postal code V5C 6G9 in Burnaby, BC (that is if you're willing to ship to Canada)? |

I am willing to ship. If you're serious, I'll find out what the shipping will be.
You're right in there as far as your weight and the 166 are concerned. Edited by basegrinder - Feb/26/2007 at 4:28pm |

Definately interested if shipping costs keep it all under $250.
From past experience I think USPS global express may be the best bet as brokerage fees for FedEx and UPS start getting into the $50 range and you don't really find out until the package arrives. If it is FedEx or UPS you prefer I can talk to the shipping/receiving guy here at work in the morning and see if I can use the company account number. Payment can be either personal cheque or paypal - visa and mastercard are Options if you can do that through Sierra. Damn, I can't beleive I'm up to two boards my first year riding - and the year isn't even over yet! I think I'm sick... ![]() |

Just a word of warning... you're supposed to size down on Malolo's. Unless you're doing big mountain riding, in which case you'd probably want the extra stability. But I expect if you got a Malolo you'd want more around 158-160.
Although at the price, it's hard to beat. |

If I were him (Jaspaul), I would definitely not go with a 158. The 162 would probably be fine, but I'm sure the 166 would work perfectly well for you too. I actually have this years 154 and am about to sell it so that I can get a 158 next season and I'm 5'3" and 140. But, I also have ankle issues that are helping me to want a larger board. Just because it's recommended to size down doesn't mean that you can't ride a bigger one. It's all about preference and ability. I say go for it!

I don't have much experience with crack, but if it's this fun I might have to give it a shot ![]()
I bought the Darkstar in a 160 knowing I'd probably get a more freeride oriented board in the not too distant future, but normally I think I'd ride about a 165 for an all mountain setup - that means sizing up a bit for a pow board and then dropping a couple cm's doesn't put me too far from the 166, and like you said for the price... Plus the Burton site gives the 162 a weight range of 150-200lbs, and the 166 a range of 170-210lbs so my 190-200lbs seems to fall in there well.
I don't have much experience so preference is hard to quantify, but the ability level seems to keep going up day by day... I've got about 30 days under my belt this year and I figure about 20-30 more depending on how the rest of the season goes so hopefully I can tame this board soon ![]() I was initially looking to keep it Canadian so was thinking of a 162 Option Northshore, but the Malolo seems to be the king in this type of board so it's hard not to at least consider it. Plus at $200 I could turn around and sell it for not much of a loss if I don't like it. Edited by Jaspaul - Feb/26/2007 at 7:47pm |

Are you askin Tom for the shipping price, or what? I'm not sure what you're getting at here. I think it'd be a great board for you though.

He is probably on the mountain dude. But, I do understand the wants and needs of that board.
I just got mine last week and rode it this past three days of powder in Tahoe. Shoot that board is SWEET!!! It is the flying fish for true. I was hallin ass in the tree's. It was like a pinball....sooooo much fun!!! You will love it....
