5/23/2013 3:27:48 AM Oh shtook me... i didn't even check the date on that. Thread revival indeed. Feel so dumb for replying properly... Rookie mistake.
5/22/2013 3:19:30 AM Depends when your boyfriends birthday is and when they restock. I only hear good things about the cartels and forces thou. One of the best people to ask on this site would be spencer, he knows his shiz.  Personally i'd try get Rome bosses from another site or something. Super comfy bindings.
5/10/2013 12:15:13 AM Saw this yesterday and was gutted. Was going to post!  The one time i plan a trip to the snow  but thats ok, ill spend the money towards another heli run maybe.
5/6/2013 11:37:11 PM See Mt Hutt? They have a huge load of snow already  Btw guys thanks for the info. Might hit up the coronet peak first up for learning for the first 2-3 days. I have more then enough confidence that my friend will pick it up pretty quick. He's an amateur surfer/skateboarder but he's picked them up pretty quick. Hopefully some of those skills will come across to snowboarding. And the best bit is that he's very confident that he'll learn quick. The advance from blue to green sounds good at coronet, plus i think it'll keep me going for those few days while he's learning.  I'll definitely hit up the park at remarkables asap. Will have plenty of Gopro stacks ready for you then.  If we save up enough money we will go heli boarding for sure and snowpark NZ is only if we are confident by then. 14 days, fingers crossed.
5/2/2013 12:03:19 AM They had FBI or whatever waiting for them but the tickets the brother came back on was misspelt so they didn't pick up on it i heard.
5/1/2013 12:34:24 AM Much advice on which of the 4 would be best for learning? I'll be a bit sloppy but its my mates first time.  Also any of the 4 got decent park set ups? mainly jumps and rails? I really want to get some practice in! If i get good enough i might even hit up Snow park NZ for a day!!!  Btw staying at the normads in QT.
4/29/2013 12:45:25 AM Just extended my trip to 2 weeks flat from 8 day!!! Yewwww!  First time in 2 years! Pumped so much. Anyone else hitting QT around august 11-25?
4/27/2013 8:34:00 PM ^^Not sure if riding Pow or hiking up mountain...  But damn that is awesome. Does season usually go for that long in AK?
4/16/2013 12:56:32 AM Finally get to board this year. Heading to Queenstown in mid/late August for a week and a half. Still not sure which mountains to hit as i get mixed reviews on all... Can't wait
3/31/2013 9:45:42 PM @FJ yer you were right, it can't handle super wide at the darkest stop. Not much a a problem thou. Love the genus, No vignetting that I can see on it and images stay pretty sharp imo. Mmm, i plan to do what you mentioned up above with a different image and layer but i don't have photoshop just lightroom to play with.   Love the above images. especially of the one of the Boyrfriend in orange. Looks Baws.
3/31/2013 1:47:08 AM Rainy days in Brisbane city today. Tested out my new Genus ND fader. Looks like i picked up a dud one... As you fade it more and more, the polariser only effects the middle in a cross shape instead of darkening the whole scene... Going back to swap for another one once the long weekend is over.  Probably my favourite one from today. Southbank waters beach, just out from the CBD. Not many people here on a rainy afternoon considering its holidays.  Bit of romance, come for a swim.  Under exposed on purpose, probably a bit too much but i like the dark, stormy feel.    Hey man, I try to use ambient light for most of my indoor prep shots.  I try to get as much natural light through the windows as I can and shoot wide open with relatively high iso.  If that's just not an option, then I use external flashes and bounce off the ceiling with a diffuser.  Oh, and nice shots with the ND filter! [/QUOTE]Ahh sweet to hear about the ambient light, I plan to do the same as i suck sooooo much with flash photography, not that im a great photographer anyway... but...  Have you used the 'Gary fong' flash domes at all? And what about umbrellas? waste of time/money? For that kind of shot anyway, i don't plan on doing any studio work.  And thanks  I know that in the river one, the trees/shrubs are a bit out of focus because of the long exposure on a windy day but happy with the composition for once.
3/28/2013 12:12:49 AM This one takes the cake. haha.  Ripping start to the contest.
3/25/2013 3:23:28 AM sick video spenser. Man you guys can shred. Some awesome tricks by the ladies~~!
3/21/2013 7:26:02 PM Looks rad to me! What board is that?
3/19/2013 11:36:12 PM Internet forums... Internet...  How hard is it for you guys to get a citizenship for canada? I've been looking it up for Australians, doesn't seem too hard.  Would love to live there! heading over for a working holiday this year!
