3/9/2013 10:14:22 AM I can tell you this, the polarized lenses for those bad boys aren't cheap! Unfortunately, while the theory of polarized lenses for snow sports makes sense, actually using them can do more harm then good. Especially if you're riding in icy conditions, where the polarization prevents you from seeing large ice patches beforehand, and then a possible injury occurs. I'd personally stick with non-polarized lenses, but that's just one opinion.
3/9/2013 10:05:54 AM The deal with a scratch or bite is, it causes a blood infection that results in sepsis and a massive fever that eventually kills you. Kind of like a Kimodo Dragon. What I'm dying to know is, what is the deal with these visions that the dying experience when they see the zombies?
3/6/2013 4:25:27 PM Haven't ridden every board in the world, but out of all the boards I have ridden, I'll stick with my T6.
3/6/2013 4:19:55 PM I too will ride anything, but powder really is where it's at.
2/23/2013 2:41:01 AM It's true that you can "crayon" on harder waxes when in a bind, but your better off getting a waxing cork if you'd prefer doing a quickie job. It doesn't take as long as a hot wax, and gets deeper into the base so it will last longer.
2/17/2013 2:47:27 PM This. Although, I would contact Burton any chance I get if I were you since all Burton bindings are supposed to include all mounting hardware. If these came without those, Burton will send you some for free.
2/13/2013 2:37:43 PM I wish the same could be said for Colorado :(Another lousy season here so far [/QUOTE] Pretty ironic, I'm usually looking to get out there to ride. So far, looks like I'll be staying home this season! Sorry your season has been crap so far. PRAY TO THE SNOW GODS!
2/12/2013 5:35:50 PM I think that the Suicide King reference was meant toward the Governor and how his stand-offish attitude of late has lost him the loyalty of his "subjects". Just a theory. About Rick losing it, it seems to me that the writers are trying to show some realism in his humanity, and his weakness therein. If the world went to holy hell around you, your wife is dead, you have a newborn baby, and are the chosen "leader" of a group that seems to keep getting killed, any of us could start seeing "ghosts" or hearing dead people on a dead phone line. That kind of responsibility is a lot to carry. Just my .02
2/10/2013 10:18:27 AM Looks like the prediction for the northeast was pretty damn accurate!
2/9/2013 12:22:47 PM Okemo and Killington are both awesome! I usually hit them both 3-4 times a season. Mt. Snow's okay too but I prefer the larger hills to avoid long lift lines, which can happen at Mt. Snow. I haven't hit Stratton yet, even though I plan to every season. Hopefully this is the year!
2/9/2013 7:45:38 AM I know man, I live in the back woods so it'll be a while till they plow enough to get us out. As soon as they clear the roads I'm heading right out to hit this! I can't wait!
2/9/2013 5:36:13 AM Got over 2 feet so far here in RI...and it's still coming down!!!
2/9/2013 5:26:55 AM Well, that doesn't make any sense to me. While the other thread was discussing specifically the storm, I'm asking my fellow East Coast riders to give a roll call of where they're planning to hit up first. Sure...snow is involved, but I'm not talking about accumulations or asking about the snow itself. If it gets locked, then it does. People are getting a little too sensitive around here.
2/9/2013 5:04:12 AM Boy it's good to live on the "ice coast" right now. I bet the rest of the country is pretty jealous right now. Can't wait to get out there after this snow passes. Where's everybody hitting up first?
2/9/2013 4:30:09 AM TOMORROW!!! Man I can't wait for this...I'm snowed in anyway because of this northeast blizzard. If I can't hit the slopes, I can at least get my Dead on. Check out the Dead Yourself app on your smartphone. Pretty fun way to turn yourself into a zombie.
