5/1/2013 8:51:28 AM You can do a lot of Core Strengh Training in the off season as well as buying a balance board. Another great trick for learning how to get on the rails is to grab a baseball bat or just a 2x4 and practice ollie'n on and off in 50/50's and board slides.

3/19/2013 9:02:11 AM I'm on it. MOD Powers for EM's are to come, As well as consolidations to threads. Making a list today and submitting it later this afternoon.
1/9/2013 7:04:25 AM I have done Artwork for several boards and the best way I have found is to sand the top sheet enough that you have pours for the paint to fill. Lightly coat it with an acrylic outdoor spray paint in about 10-12 layers. you want to be sure that the coatings are light enough that you are not making any puddles on the board with the paint and the paint coats the surface evenly. Another key to the many layers is that you never want one layer to be 100% dry before doing the next coat. That way all of the layers will bond together and reduce flaking and cracking. After that If you're a good aerosol artist feel free to bomb it up or grab your KRINKS and got to town (one of my fav's); The best results I have ever had with doing custom work on rideable boards is silk screening the deigns on and covering with a gloss or non-gloss aerosol finish. Just know that Warranty is void after any alterations like this and that the artwork will crack, get scratched and never look as good as when it's first finished due to the nature of the beast. Hope this helps- MustacheGeorge
1/7/2013 11:52:07 AM I would go with either the Cypher or the Cartel if you want something on the stiffer side of things. Cartels are a classic binding that have a proven track record of performance so they are a pretty safe bet. The Cyphers are really nice; light as heck, durable, comfortable and made for ripping fast and hard. here is all the info on them that you are looking for on the Cyphers: Baseplates: The Slasher baseplate’s lightweight design shaves 100g (per pair) from the Cypher bindings. Polycarbonate material allows for an even freestyle flex. IMS: Salomon’s patented trick for keeping your disc screws in place while adjusting your bindings or swapping out boards. Composite 30% Compo-Lite baseplate tech: more rigid than low end plastic, more durable and comfortable than aluminum ADJ Toe Ramp: dual layer toe pad with super easy adjustability for the best transmission on toe edge Power Heel Lock: simple heel tab on the back of the heel cup that matches up with the spine on your Salomon boots eliminating heel lift Straps: Hollowed out for a lightweight, formed fit, the 3D Supreme Light ankle strap supplies a whole new level of riding comfort. It is padded out for a maximized cushy feel and has a torsional flex for support with no pressure points. True Grip toe strap is a super lightweight, locking toe strap with no need for a full release to quickly lock you back in - no more cranking in and out of your bindings all day. This is paired with Salomon’s unique and exclusive Fast Fit, the fastest toe strap entry design on the market. Spend less time strapping in and more time riding. Highbacks: Flex Rating - 4 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff) The Salomon Cypher Snowboard Bindings feature the Carbon Drumframe highback with bomb proof carbon construction in an asymmetrical shape and flex, for increased lateral support and better medial mobility. Additional Features Multizone EVA Pads: EVA foam padding softens the contact by absorbing the vibrations. Viper aluminum buckles: increased ratchet throw gets you a deeper grip with less effort, so your straps go on lightening fast. Quick and easy to release, nothing but smooth sailing strap adjustment with the Viper's new three point hinge mechanism and easy grip shape. Adjustable toe ramp Specs: Ability Level: Advanced-Expert Binding Style: Strap Warranty: Lifetime on baseplates and highbacks
11/30/2011 7:19:53 AM Hey Sdip- They are only 10K water proofing, NOT Water proof. I usually try to stick with pants that are 20K+ Water proofing. It may be a little bit more money, then again your butt wont get wet riding up the chair or sitting on the snow. I have had a couple pairs of the "denim" pants from different brands and they all seemed to be more fashion than function.
11/23/2011 7:52:27 AM TruSnow customers- For a short period of time yesterday and today, the Technine Icon Men's 151 snowboard was listed for $9.95, an obvious error. The price should have been $169.95. This error appears to have been caused by a data caching issue during a nightly pricing and inventory update; we had very few of this board in stock and we received orders for over 1,000! Because we could not fill this order, we have canceled your original order for the Technine Icon 151. However, in order to help make things better, we will offer you the Sierra Reverse Crews 151 at $149.00. This board retails for $$599.95 and is on sale on TruSnow for $299.95. You up to the same number of Sierra Reverse Crews 151 at $149.00 that you ordered in your original order for the Technine Icon 151. In order for you to buy the Sierra Reverse Crew 151 at $149.95, please call us at 866.956.5969 and talk to anyone of our representatives who would be glad to help you. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. The Team at TruSnow
11/22/2011 7:06:31 AM go to youtube and type in Forum Bully- Make sure you get snowboard results not "chat bullying videos". Look for the second or third video down from snowboards.net. It is an interview with my main man And Forum Midwest Steve Wikner- Hope this helps!
11/22/2011 6:47:16 AM Hey Gid- I would suggest a board length of 158cm for you. I would also recommend you buying a rocker (reverse camber) board. This shape board will make learning how to carve much, much easier. In order to correctly match you with the right gear you want to have 5 main components: 1-Height 2-Weight 3-Shoe/boot size 4-Ability 5-Riding conditions If you want to send me a privet a message or ask any of the experts or staff in the live chat section. Somebody would be happy to help you get out on the mountain! -MustacheGeorge
11/16/2011 9:01:39 AM http://bmx.transworld.net/1000117477/features/basic-bmx-tricks-with-kevin-porter/ That is a link to Transworld BMX Magazine's How to section. Enjoy!
11/16/2011 7:03:12 AM Can't Go Wrong With A Platinum Pick Award Winner. First of all this board has a ton of pop you do not need to load for a huge Ollie on this thing, it does most of the power loading for you. This board is going to be a little stiffer but still playful because of the flat line rocker shape. You have the Cleave edge, which means the steel edges are twice as thick as normal side walls. This is really nice for durability as well as taking down your edges for jibbing and then going back and getting them nice and sharpened up again for carving and hard charging. Another thing to notice is the 5 carbon array strands that run in an X pattern from the inserts to the contact points. This make it very responsive when turning and flexing the board from heel to toe. I really liked this board for harder snow and ice at high speed and is fun and poppy in the park but a little tougher to lock in a good press and noodle around on little stuff. hope this helps -George
