|| I definitely like the thought behind it though i don't think i could use these. I wonder if you can traverse flat spots with these?

|| It's absolutely worth it. Lift tickets alone run about $150 (2-day) with a package. So then you account about $100 for the lodging and transportion. Plus, at the moment, killington is getting dumped and they have about 100+ trails open. Plus, if it's a college trip, it's definitely a good chance to get to know the other students in the school.

||Just wanted to survey the population, what is the most common snowboard you've seen on the slopes? For me, i think it might be the stunt. i don't know if it's because i bought one and I'm just noticing it more (i still think it's an awesome board tho). Just curious on other people's thoughts.

||I use these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005G26HWM/ref=oh_o05_s00_i00_details You probably really only need 2-3 of these and they come in a set of 9 so you can make you own patterns. I find these very useful.

|| I disagree. TruSnow is still specific to action sports...was snowboard/ski...but yeah, anyways. Welcome to your first post.
carrying skis is part of what makes them a non-"core" boardshop... "core" shops being part of the criteria NS looks for in their potential dealers. they also used to sell patio furniture in the offseason, which apparently is not that uncommon for big multi-sports stores...
I'm sorry to take this off topic, but i didn't think it warranted making a new post. Why do multisports stores sell patio furniture in the offseason? I'm not sure I see the correlation. I guess I'm just curious as to how their business models line up.

|| can you measure the inseam? I'm a tall skinny guy but the waist looks ot be a good fit. [Edit] I'm interested in both.

||4 hours away, are you guys from the DC Metro area?I was thinking about heading down but it was just far enough for me to wait until i saw more and heard more about it.

|| usually Dulles. i've gone to SFO, LAX, OKC, ORD all without any problems. Im planning on heading to JAC next. also, i like their frequent flier program, I use their credit card so it works out well for me.

||i know a lot of people have issues with United, but I've always flown w/ them without any problems. Snowboard luggage can replace a checked bag w/o any oversized fees which is not too bad. All in all, i can't complain. I'm assuming Southwest doesn't charge extra for snowboard luggage? is that correct?

|| Agreed, I'd give these a shot if they were closer to the price range of all the other normal bindings. I love the innovation though and it reminds me of that video where the person jumps from board to board (although this wouldn't be as extreme). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uItKpuhDfbQ&feature=related Definitely think it's a great innovation. To Bon Hiver, are you thinking about doing any demo days?

||did anyone catch KD, LBJ, Melo, CP3 or anyone in Bmore yesterday? I was trying to make it up there but i couldn't get out of work in time. I think it's pretty awesome that they are doing this which is a direct result of this lockout. They are playing in tiny gym arenas which gives it that pick up basketball feel. Plus, every game teams have been dropping 150+ points. I'm trying to see if anyone made it out there or to any of the local events they've been puttin on.

||just out of curiousity, i just want to confirm, is there a search function on this entire forum?

||I'm curious about the LoBack as they seem to provide more movement and freedom but I was wondering if anyone's tried them and if they can share their experience with them. I read the reviews on this site and I didn't really get any information out of them. A follow up question to that is, has anyone gone w/o highbacks? How did it feel? Was it a big adjustment? Thanks!
