Experience:   First ride on a reverse camber board for me ... I now believe the hype and so should you. All the tech which has been put into this board gives you a fantastic ride. I have given it a work out through the powder (my favourite spot) and the board performed extremely well. Talk it for a short walk through the park and felt confident on landings. Riding groomers is easy money for this board. However what most impressed were 2 things: 1. the reduced feedback when riding - makes traversing and those icy days much more bearable and 2. as I spend some time giving Snowboard lessons this board provides great stability and has immediately improved my switch riding further allowing me to demo both natural and goofy with ease. Step off whatever you are riding and onto something which is a luxury snowboard. If you are in OZ, I have three demo RC's ... look me up.

Experience:   I purchased these boots in hope that the ROME size would be a little bigger than normal size, as they only had limited sizes left. So I bought the half size smaller. BUGGER! Just didn't quite fit. So, So, So annoyed. I got my foot in, but needed an army to get it back off. What I felt (aprt from cramped) was awesome. I really am impressed with the tech of these boots. The colour scheme was great with the dark army green set out by the orange laces. Looking forward to Sierra re-stock, as a pair of these will being going straight into the cart for next season.

Experience:   I started off on this board (157cm) this season - just as an A to B board for work as my job requires me to get around the mountain a fair bit. I did my instructor training on this board and was really wrapped with riding the groomers. I got hold an RC (159cm) and was again wrapped with the performance of this board (read my review). I was out getting some great fresh lines on the RC and a mate was riding the Team board. He (skill level intermediate) was struggling through the powder (fairly deep) on the Team, so I swapped boards and got back on the Team board. Without missing a beat I headed in the trees in the search of more powder and sweet drops. I finished the run and was gasping for more, I hit everything I could on the board and dodged every tree (except one branch, that gave me a nice fat lip). I found the niche for this board and it is powder tree riding. Extremely nimble, poppy off hits and real reactive in turns particularly in the tight stuff. Get on one ... just get on a Sierra. I am 5'10 and 190lbs ... advanced all mountain freerider

Experience:   I bought these for my partner (we are expecting) and the quality of the garment is so great that what started as 2 will now turn into 4 purchases of these. She wears them all the time because the fabric has a great stretch quality and forms nicely to the curves (baby bump). In white they can be worn with anything ... she is also looking forward to summer and giving them a workout on the beach. Would make a nice addition to your cart for yourself (if you are female) or a great gift to impress your partner.

One of the best first layers I have picked up and worn. The graphic on the sleeve is great. The lightweight fabric has plenty of ability to breathe and makes riding comfortable all day. I used this in warm and cold days and found it worked for both - secret is having the right jacket. Stylish enough as well to wear confidently at the bar after.

Experience:   I read the other reviews and I tend not to agree with the bashing this stomp pad has received. I have one on one of my boards and it works effectively, with a little bit of maintenance ie. knocking the snow and ice off at each lift line. I can see how you could get frustrated with this. Compare to other button type stomp pads these ones stay on really well. They are durable ... might not look the greatest, but hey looks ain't everything and you put your foot on top it. I think these are effective enough ... will be adding some more to cart for the demo boards I have. My comments are based on Australian conditions ... we may not be as icy and cold as other areas - but trust me we have our fair share lately.

Experience:   Sierra World - look forward to 2011 VANS Aura ... I was sneaky enough to snag a pair for myself. I am normally a DC dual zone BOA boot wearer, so I thought these would be right up my alley. And I was right ... I am size 9 (26cm) and the fit is good. I have a wider than normal foot as well. Compared to other boots I have tried this year, the biggest advantage with this boot is a very simple feature. The lower lacing on the inner boot has its own tab for tightening permitting a really good snug fit to hold down your heel. The inner boot is really soft as well and the tightening mechanism used is unique and effective. The BOA works well, allowing precision tightening. I am a BOA convert so my opinion is a little biased. But the freedom the mechanism allows you to get the fit just perfect is a great advantage for any rider. Especailly come the time when you have a break, you simply pop both wheels and instance relief of pressure and comfort - important to manage those long days. You can wear them all night as the are not too outageous and offer a good apre comfort. Getting in getting out for the first few times was a little challenging, but them I worked out the all the functions of the boot and found the proper way to enter and exit the boot.

I am one of the fabulous baldies - so beanies are highly important and I take the quality very seriously. :) Nice heavy fabric has been used to make this beanie, indicating good warmth. I have found this to be true. With some warm beanies you forgo any chance at breathing and therefore sweat lots and end up with a bit of head freeze. The material used for this beanie has a little breath-ability and keeps the sweat down a little. I use a bandanna as well to wick away the sweat. The colours and design are great. No to bold but just enough to let all know you are in an Arbor Beanie. The little badge on the front is a great touch.

Like the design ... might buy another for the price (which is always good at Sierra) The heavy material is a good wind blocker, if you want to wear it bandit style. Would not recommend if you had a small head, think it would go around twice or not see your head at all.

Spotted in OZ retail stores for $450+ ... ridiculous. I love shells (I love 3 in 1 jackets). You can layer and be prepared for all conditions. I wear this jacket daily to work with a thermal only. Feel a little chill, but I know I am alive. Think this is going to make the best spring jacket. Has all the basic bits and a couple more. The handcuffs are a cool edition and appearing in a lot of great high end jackets. Just gives that little extra hand protection from the cold. Has the tradtional path for the headphone cord - all good. I love the colour scheme - true T.Rice style - not to flashy but enough to break the mold of the ordinary. Then there is the left cuff pocket ... I am still trying to work out what the tube is for. Is this a jacket for a mule? Is this just for my ciggie or dooby? Can someone provide a reason for this or did just get a one off jacket. Love the jacket ... nice work Quiksilver ... surf brand making good in the snow. Nice style to T.Rice :)

Experience:   The search for the perfect fitting goggle would seem to be endless and I am sure next season I will keep searching. However, this goggle has rated extremely highly. So much so I have plenty of mates wanting a pair as well. I have struggled with other goggles when removing the lens - not the case here - just snap and pull and the lens is changed. As few mates with different melons and helmet types also tried them on. They fit all different face types and were compatible with many different helmets. I am wearing them with a Giro Bad Liuetenant (however that is spelt) and the fit is perfect. I also put them with the Giro Remedy S full face I bought from Sierra. Perfect fit as well, especially for operating the snowmo. Get a pair - great value great quality.

Experience:   Tools come is lots of different shapes and sizes - this one is a good middle ground - not too big not too small. You can still use esilt with your gloves on. Handle is ergonomic and works well providing a good grip. Attachments are adequate. Not the most complex tool, but is good enough. Sometimes the simple acheives the best outcome. Too complicated we are wondering what we actually do with the other bits.

Experience:   I was really looking forward to getting my foot into these and was please with the initial comfort level and tech to get the inner tightened. The sizing is pretty spot on, so I recommend that you don't follow the size chart. Just measure your foot and go by the centimetres. If anything the sizing is just slightly smaller. The only drawback, and this comes from a comparison of wearing DC Allegiances which have a dual zone BOA system each season, is that the lower tightning is not the greatest. I just could not get the boot firm enough across the top of my foot - not as tight as I am able with the DC's. I would qualify this by saying I was trying on a new boot which I had not formed to my foot - so if I do this I might get a slightly better fit. This sounds insane, but I fill my boots with warm water while my feet are in them and do them up as tight as a can and walk around for about an hour. Old school motocross - it works, well it works for me

Experience:   Would be happy if more people got into Palmer boards. In OZ you see very few. It is really us old school boys who know just ho well built they are and what performance they are capable of. I dbought one of these and demo'd it end of last season. Park riding and jibbing is really not my thing, but I want to be able to give good advice to mates and guests at the resort, so I took this board for a spin. I was really wrapped as it rode as a true twin, nice and bouncy on the free ride and very competent over small-medium jumps. I am not up to hitting the big kickers. I need to survive and board all season. First time park rats - I would reommend highly this board for you. Or a a second baord to use of park days. Has a good ability for the progressive rider.

Experience:   I think a few of the other reviews are a little mis-directed. This is a budget boot - you get what you pay for. I think for the price, the value and quality is good. If you are starting out - these will do the trick. Just make sure the fit is snug. With the lesser tech boots, it is important to get a good fit. They are not s forgiving as the top end models. They will stil do the job for a season and if treated well you'll get a second. If you struggle for comfort, try foot bed. Don't go the thicker sock this = feet sweet which = cold feet.

Experience:   These were my first bindings after using FLOW bindings for a few seasons .. .was odd to go back to the convential binding, but I dont think I could have picked a better binding for my return. Since this binding I have upgraded to RIDE CAD. About the SPI ... flexible toe strap. I was able to ride with the strap in a couple of different positions. The high back has good adjustment after a few runs I was able to find the right setting. Connection to the board was good. No movement under the binding. Some flexing which was nice and forgiving for just cruising. I recommend ride above any other binding.

We do the hacker to the pro ... unless you are blasting first descents like Travis Rice then this binding will serve you for a few seasons. Experience:   I have survived on DAKINE backpacks - tried others, not a fair match. Went from the Heli Pro to this model. More pockets = more useful. The hydration sleeve puts the tube to the other side of the pocket - gets in the way when tryig to use the top zipper entrance. Still great having the full zip off back.
