Experience:   I use to ride my board without stom pads. My rear foot will slide in the board every time I released the rear boot from the bindings. That made it difficult to get off from lifts, and do flats. With the pads I feel more stable and I control the table better even with a boot off the binding

Experience:   Got this thermal while living in Boston. Great under your jeans for walking during freezing days. Also great for snowboarding in the VERY COLD east coast ski centers. The only problem for me is that I moved to Austin. The thermals are not very helpful here, unless you want a portable sauna. And for skiing in the west coast a good snowboard pants will probably do the work without any thermal (at least for me it does). However if you are really sensitive to cold you may find these thermals useful in the west coast.

Experience:   This tool is super useful, especially if you are still looking for the perfect snowboard setup. When I started snowboarding I did not know which angle to use for my bindings. I decided to use try and error. I bought this tool, put it in my pockets and went to the mountain. I adjusted the bindings' angle a few times until I found the perfect angle for me. It took me 2 days to figure that out. Since then I have never used the tool again. But I keep it in my pocket just in case a screw gets loose.

Experience:   I spend most of the time snowboarding, however I like going back to ski once in a while. I did not want to spend too much on my ski equipment, but I did not want to break a leg either. This binding was the perfect compromise. You can expect all the well known Salomon quality and you can adjust the strength you need for the biding to open (OK all the bindings have this in theory but in the cheap ones the regulation does not work very well). You want to set the bindings at a higher weight that you really have if you are racing; you want to set the bindings at a lower weight if you are a beginner, or you just like to take things easy. Now if you want to ski fast do not leave the bindings below your weight. Last time I did that I ended up landing on my head after losing a ski in a turn. Not very nice Overall great bindings do the work, will last forever if you take proper care, and you can adjust to your level or taste and the adjustment is going to work properly, strongly recommend

Experience:   These were my third boots after burton moto and burton shawn white. These boots are supper flexible. My instep is very low and therefore most boots do not hold my feet very well. These boots were not the exception, however the flexibility of the boot help me do the trick. After tightening the laces I went around my instep problem by tightening hard the front strap of the binding. Given that the boot is so flexible the strap tightened the boot and voala my instep was held properly. I recently changed to a coil boa boot, just because I am lazy. But these boots really rocks, I strongly reccomend them

Experience:   These were my first boots when I switched from ski to snowboard. I found these boots super comfortable. OK coming from ski boots it was an unfair comparison, but I have tried many different snowboard boots sinse and Burton MOTO is still in the high end of comfort. The boot midium average not super flex not super stiff, exactly what I wanted when learning. The only problem I had with these boots is that my instep is very low, and I had to push the laces really hard to get a good fit. Other than that no complaints.

Experience:   I bought these mittens when I switched from ski to snowboard. They felt great when I put them in the morning, so much better than gloves!!!, and pretty warm. The problem is that my first day snowboarding I spent most of the time in the ground and the mittens ended up absorving water. These mittens would be perfect if they were waterproof in the palm. After I learnt how to snowboard they were good and warm, except when it was raining. Luckily it does not rain very often in ski centers, provably never in the east coast, but it does some times in the places where I snowboard.

Experience:   This socks are the most comfortable ski-snowboard socks I have ever used. The only problem for me was that after washing my first pair in the washing machine and then drying them in a dryer machine the socks were plenty of lumps. I do not really know if it was the washing machine the dryer or both. If I had to bet I would say it was the dryer, but I am not sure. If you want to make sure you do not have lumps in your socks then wash it by hand. That is what I do and it works nice, no more lumps in my snowboard socks!!!

Experience:   This tool does the work, however the finishing is pretty raw. If you want a better finishing you may want an edge tool with different grit diamond stones. Another problems is that if you sharpen to often you will wear off the edge. If you want to keep your edges sharp without wearing off the edge you may need a fine grit diamond stone

Experience:   I purchased this goggle because my face is narrow and common goggles look pretty funny on me. This goggles looked way better on me than adult goggles. The vision is clear and the quality is the same as any smith goggle, at 1/3 the price. The only problem is that they will barely blocks my side view, it is almost unnoticeable but if you look over your shoulder you will have a small area you would see with adult goggles and you won't see with this goggles. Hope this helps other narrow face snowboarders

Experience:   I bought these boots after using Burton Shawn and Vans Mantra. The Burton did not hold my heel and the Mantra were too soft. On top of that I was tired of stopping to tighten my boots. With these boots there is no more stops. You can tighten in seconds if you feel that the boot is loose. Thumbs up¡¡¡
