- Name: 2010 Salomon Z12 Ti
- Pros: easy in, adjustable,
- Cons: none that I can think,
Experience:
I spend most of the time snowboarding, however I like going back to ski once in a while. I did not want to spend too much on my ski equipment, but I did not want to break a leg either. This binding was the perfect compromise.
You can expect all the well known Salomon quality and you can adjust the strength you need for the biding to open (OK all the bindings have this in theory but in the cheap ones the regulation does not work very well). You want to set the bindings at a higher weight that you really have if you are racing; you want to set the bindings at a lower weight if you are a beginner, or you just like to take things easy.
Now if you want to ski fast do not leave the bindings below your weight. Last time I did that I ended up landing on my head after losing a ski in a turn. Not very nice
Overall great bindings do the work, will last forever if you take proper care, and you can adjust to your level or taste and the adjustment is going to work properly, strongly recommend
