• Name: 2011 Oakley Splice Goggles Men's
• Pros:  design, lens, build quality

Experience:   I tried and compared these to the eg2's before I finally chose the splice, and I'm happy with what I got. They have: a wide open field of view, comfy foam, good ribbed strap, nice frame, vents that work right, haven't fogged, and just look awesome. If you use a helmet they fit both around it or on the inside of it comfortably. The nasal opening was done right and does not pinch (better than eg2). The splice field of view/peripheral vision ranks solid (although 2nd to the eg2's), however the eg2's were almost too bug-eyed on my face & look weird if wearing a helmet. As for a con, Oakley advertises the o matter quick-change strap but I haven't found anyone who sells them, I'm unsure if they exist... unless you can use the same straps that fit on the a-frame...?? (although I doubt I'll need to change them) Overall you can't go wrong with a pair of Oakley Splice

Experience:   These goggles are not a bad choice for the person who would use them occasionally. They are soft, flex to fit the face, the lens (persimmon) brightens up the view on cloudy/darker days. The strap has the no slip rib and is able to fit around your helmet without problem. However, the design of the goggle has its flaws. There is definitely some tunnel vision caused by the narrow lens. The foam lining is actually good quality yet, the nose opening pinches the nose a bit and restricts breathing through the nose (especially when your using them in their intended environment... in snowy cold weather!). Overall these goggles work for the casual snow sport enthusiast.

• Description:  roomy but not baggy. its ment to be a shell

Experience:   This jacket is meant to be a light-weight rain jacket that you can wear on those cool rainy days. It is not a warm jacket so you will definitely wear layers underneath if its really cold out... better yet, use a heavier jacket when its that cold. Really, it's better than a light hoodie for the rain... and it does what its intended to do... be more of a shell. The fit is pretty standard. It is definitely not slim fitted or trendy in any way. I would say standard to slightly baggy.
