Experience:   Lots of board feel, good flex of the baseplate. No dead zone under the bindings. Just enough damping, but I rather have it the way it is. Love the flex of the highback. Good side flex but just enough flex longitudinally for aggressiveness. Definitely stiffer highback then the Contacts which I had. If you're looking for a soft bindings but still want to be aggressive. These are great. Urethane highback is good, these are very similar in flex. Very light, great buckles, straps, adjustability, etc all Union greatness. I have size 7 boots and wish they fit me better. My boots fits small in M/L. I prefer a tighter fit. Wish they make them in women's. that's the only reason why is not 5 stars.

Experience:   these are very good boots for the price. took bout a day to break in. Boa makes ingress and egress very easy while providing easy and fine adjustments. Heel hold is great. The liner and footbed is not the best but in this price range is pretty good. Liner keeps me warm and dry while soft and cushy. The footbed can use more gel or cushioning though. These boots are on the mid soft side, good for all-mtn. Weight is average. No problem walk on snow, plenty of grip. I've skinny feet, and these boots felt very wide.

Experience:   These are soft flexing bindings. Not soft like Union Contacts though. Besides the winged highback didn't help much, everything about this bindings are top notch. Great cushy footbed, absorbs most of the impacts but still provides good board feel and feedback especially with the ReFlex baseplate. ReFlex definitely feels different than the '10 Cartels that I used to have. Locks in my boots well with comfy straps, though I prefer open toe caps. Buckles are easy and smooth. Lots of adjustabilities. Average time to set them up to my preference. Rode these for 12 days, very reliable so far. Straps still are firm and cushy.

Experience:   First of, I'm not a gimmicky person. But I'm also curious, so I demo them. Plus I haven't rode Ride bindings since I first started. After it took me forever to adjust them to my preference. Didn't care for them at all. I like toe straps/caps, I just can't get the same responsiveness with these as with traditional straps. Is easy getting in/out, but is not worth it for the lack of responsiveness. Don't care much for aluminum chassis neither. The ratchets are decent, but not the best in the business. I do like the Wedgie footbed, very comfy. I talked to the lift ops at my home mtn, for those who owned it, none of them cares for them neither. I realized that none of them have the Contrabands anymore. And they say the contraband is not reliable nor durable.

Experience:   I wear men's size 7 or women's size 8 in Vans Veil. Fits perfect. All day comfort with the straps but wish its got the magnesium buckles like the Contacts and such. Still great buckles, can't tell the difference while cranking them. Baseplate is not as flexy as the Contacts, but just a tad. But size med in women's Union is still smaller than men's size M/L. If they're the same size, think the flex difference in baseplate will be greater. Great board feel and flexes with the board well, eliminates dead zone between board and bindings. Just enough damping for stomping landings all day. Highback flex very similar to the Contact Pros. Union durability, and adjustability. Love them, they are my Contact Pro. I like the fit of women's Unions better. My feet prefers them due to the size difference.

Experience:   Crazy surfy buttery fun. My Artifact Rocker (park board) is softer. This is soft too, but is noticeablely stiffer between the bindings. Is the extreme rocker that makes it feel softer. Both of those features combined makes it a great pow slayer and is the same size as my park board. Super buttery and loose, effortless manuals, very forgiving. This is Fast too. Tried the earlier Park Rocker, but think that was extruded base so it was slower. Very light weight. This is not for beginners. You'll need good balance with this board. You'll either freaking love it or hate it, I freaking love it. Is loose so groomers and landings are fishy but if you got good balance you'll get away with it. It's surfy, so it's a different ride. Doesn't handle big features well.

Experience:   This jacket has stay as dry as the first time I wore it. Used it 12 times and washed it once in cold water without detergents and hung dry it. My Burton jacket started to feel n stay moist in some areas probably due to me accidentally putted detergents in the load and I did have it for a few seasons now. I was surprise that Nike makes such high quality sb products. The hoodie stays wet once it gets wet, but I kept it dry most of the time. The shell jacket itself is very warm. Is warmer than my shell of the Burton 3-in-1. It might be just as warm as if my Burton jacket have the insulated liner along with the shell. But is also very breathable, so I never really got too warm in 50s with the pit zips open. With the vest, it needs to be below freezing for me to put it on. The vest is toasty. There're the average features like audio pocket, hand warmer pockets, etc. This is by far one of my favorite jacket that I've ever owned and will continue to buy their sb clothings...effing Nike.

Experience:   I have an Asian face and this fits me fine w/o the Asian fit. Just regular pair. The foam is thick but cushy and molds to my face well. I usually put on the outtriggers to make it a tighter fit. Never felt any slippage. Very comfy and never fogged in any kind of conditions. The strap have rubber lines on the inside for extra grip. It took a very bad whiplash to knock them out of my head. Fits under or over the helmet fine. The fire lens is great for bright days but wish I have couple other lenses for them. Great contrast though. And is got a wide view out. The only bad thing is that is kind of bulky for my small Asian face.

It doesn't look tight or too small nor does it feel like that. But def. can't layer up with anything thicker than a base layer. Pockets a plenty n I really like the ones by the knees. Used for bout 15 times now and it has kept me warm and dry. Very durable, haven't even seen a lose end sticking up. Cuffs at the heel is cutted up a bit, I've never needed to roll up my pant leg. Is also a stiffer pants and still stiff.

Experience:   I'm a slender guy with smaller feet n these bindings in size med. along with my Vans Veil boots in size 8 works great. My boots fits in perfectly. The auto toe strap fits my boots like a glove n never slipped one bit. Though they take time to get adjusted to my liking. Also getting in/out of them takes some practice too. But is no big deal. The ratchet on the ankle strap is top notch and there's a hitch that keeps the strap out of the way when is unbuckled. Canted footbed makes me less fatigue n I do feel more natural with wider stance. They're very light. Very responsive yet forgiving. The highback is mid-stiff. I got the regular pair instead of the Ltd. I didnt want a soft highback. Very comfy, impacts are mostly muted but just enough for good feel. Though is got a traditional base plate but still provides good board feel. Not much flex on the baseplate though. It comes with offset mounting disks. They're great if you need the bindings pushed up/back but still have stance width adjustment. I had cartels, contacts, relay series, missions, l etc, these by far are my new fav. Fits my preference and riding style perfectly.

Experience:   These all great bindings for those who like to ride da whole mtn as a playground. Soft lateral flex allow great tweakability, but the high back have good enough longitudinally stiffness to be responsive for carves n all mtn riding. These are more responsive than Flux bindings with urethane high back. Even Flux stiffen up a bit for this season. Straps are cushy and toe cap never slipped. The hitch that keeps the ankle strap outta da way makes in/out little easier. Ratchets are top notch and action feels great. Footbed is very cushy even w/o k2's harshmellow. The footbed is canted, which helps my back a bit n allowed me to go wider with less stress on my back. Is got all the adjustability that most riders needs. Very durable. The only knock on em are its weight which is not light but not da heaviest, and baseplate can use a little flex.

Experience:   these highback has crazy flex. the flex is softer side to side while the flex back and forth is stiffer. thanks to the urethane highback providing more freedom without sacrificing aggressiveness. the base got pretty good flex and feel. Also very cushy, but responsive at the same time. the straps fits great, never slipped but cushy. the ratchets feels solid. feels pretty light. tried my buddy's for few runs. he used it for 20+ days and still looks new with no compliants from him.

Experience:   this thing saved me from waiting in line for the tuning station many times. that itself is well worth the money. is very light and compact, forgot that i had it on me a few times. it's been very durable considering i have been using it since the beginning of 2008 with bout 150 days of riding. starting at the end of last season (2011) there's a little rust and the bolts on the side comes loose every once in a while but no big deal. a little cleaning and tightening got it back to almost new. there's also a bottle opener, didn't realize it till i used it for a season.

Experience:   i had this since the beginning of 2008 and its still working great so is pretty durable. used it for bout 150 days now for multiple boards at the same time almost everytime. the cable needs to be longer for 2 or more boards. i used it to lock up 3 boards a few times but i need to be creative on how the boards were arranged so that the cable can reach around back to the lock. the combination lock is easy to change and use but not very glove friendly. price is good too. sometimes i forget that i had it on me since is so compact and light.

Experience:   the tensor system works. requires less aggressiveness from the rider compare to regular bindings to get the same level of response while still providing extreme dampering and comfort. the straps are very soft and comfy. there's def. enough padding to keep me riding all day and more, but still providing good board feel. there's not as many adjustments compare to unions but enough to make any rider satisfy including high back adjustment, forward lean, and tool free strap adjustments. the tensor system adds weight to the bindings is the only knock on them. great all-mtn. binding for pow to park.

Experience:   this is one of the funnest boards for me for all-mtn. yea, it can feel not too stable at very high speeds, but it's just fun messing around all over the mtn. it have great edge hold, so high speeds is not too much of a problem. is very responsive and can feel aggressive too even though is a RC. butters and presses are super easy. great jibber. it's also poppy for its RC. i'll like something stiffer for big kickers though. it's very light as well. floats fine on pow and cuts through tree runs with ease. its an over all playful soft all-mtn. board.

Experience:   I love the mesh lining inside. Lots of pockets and the back pockets are zippered too to keep snow out. There's are sag pulls to pull the pants legs up from the inside of the front pockets. velcro pulls on the outside for custom fitting at the waist. Much better seal then burton's velcro pulls on the inside. So far from waist deep pow to almost slushy conditions, these pants have kept me warm and dry. Got 5 days on these wit no wear and tear. Love the fit too, not too baggy, just loose enough.

Experience:   These boots are very stiff, can be good and bad. Its a very warm boot tat kept me dry. Recco reflectors can save you. Dual Boa makes good perfect custom fit and make in-n-out easy. The liners have adjustable j-bars making it a custom glove for my feet. The liners also have velcro straps to secure the calves in place and velcro to keep the tongue in place. Can used a bit better padding, but good enough. The straps in the back of the boot for carrying can get in the way between the boot and the bindings. I'm a male wit skinny asian feet and these fit great.

Experience:   at the price, these pants are great. is warm enough, and is baggy enough to wear over layers if needed. is got enough pockets for anyone and anything. love the ghetto slids and the vents. is durable enough at the price, took 100+ days of full riding for the pants to finally starting to feel wet. the back pockets always catches ice, not inside but between the pocket cover and the pants where the velrco is.

Experience:   if you like surfy feeling, then this might be fun. not much edge hold. its easy to spin cause is so short, but doesn't float good on pow. ridin the chops is pretty easy though. is poppy for its size and its very light. in the park though, jumps are scary cuz there's not much to land on. and its too short and stiff for presses and butters.

Experience:   these boots are good for its price and its a great boot to get started wit. is nice and soft almost doesn't feel like I've got em on sometimes. I'm not saying its the lightest but light enough. It came me warm and dry through out a warm day. But it could use better cushioning and padding. Feet starting to feel every landing after a few runs. And it can be too soft for some and def. got softer through out the day. But for starters, the softest will be benefical and padding won't be too much of a problem since jumping and landing will be rare.

Experience:   I've got a small Asian face and these fit with no problem. It's also very comfortable. Sometimes I forgot I got them on. Ventilation is just perfect, its warm when I needed. It's ventilation let's in just the right amoung of air. Never had a fog problem. I never wiped the inside of the lense. Especially when it 50% off, can't go wrong wit these. The only thing it can improve on is its area of version. Sometimes, I felt that my version is restricted and need to turn my head a hair more.

Experience:   Very warm. Removeable liner and pit zip is great for adjusting to the heat. I never got wet nor felt wet while wearing it. The hidden audio line into the chest pocket means no more loose wire. Pow skirt works well, also the pant and jacket connection keeps the wet out. I never once complaint bout the enviorment with this jacket on.

Experience:   These are not the warmest pants on the coldest days, but goes a great job on keeping me dry and can easily fit any underlayers. Only in the late seasons that the pants feels moist for sitting on slush. I don't like toasty legs, so these worked great for me. And the white wit pinstripes reminds me of baseball pants. Lots of pockets, durable, and lots of features too.

Experience:   These boots does a good job for riding around the mtn. But can be too soft if ridden too aggressively. Since they're so soft, they require more retighten of the laces. And there's not enough cushy stuff for the bottom of my feet. Fit is good, so is heel hold for this price range. The tongue slips a bit on me. Grip is good for walking around. Very comfortable and kept my foot warm and dry. I got it locally, tried for a few runs and returned it.

Experience:   Very good boot, love the velco in the liner and the velco strap outside of the liner. Boa makes it easy in and out and easy lacing, just turn the knob. Double boa is great to get the lower and upper zone with different tightness. I'm a male with narrower feet than most men so I got these and they fit great, just need a day to break in for them to not feel cramp. They are mid-stiff and has proof it's durability so for with bout 20 days of hard riding with minimal change in flex and slight visual signs of wear and tear. The only down side with boa is that the laces change in time so it requires a little more twist with the knob... not a big deal. But the big deal is that the carrying strap on the outside of the top back of the boot gets trap right between the highbacks and the boots.

Experience:   These are good entry level boots for riders that doesn't ride a lot in a season. They did a good job on keeping my feet warm and dry. Only the liner got moist once in deep pow. Heel hold is execptional. Nice soft flex for those who like soft flexing boots and beginners, and is easy to get in and out. But the flex gets way too soft after bout 15-20 days of hard riding. And I have to get one of my boot's lace and lacing system fix after 18th use. Can jus more padding and/or cushionings bigger features, but at this price can't ask for more. Never have a problem with slippage.

The liners are hard to get wet, they usually stay plenty dry. It'll dry up pretty good before it gets too wet. Finger move pretty good in any combination.

Experience:   I used these for two days, and they seem to hold up well so far. First day, it was snowing a bit. Just the glove w/o the liner seems more than enough. The vent came in handy on the second day, so did the liner. I started to use just the liner for the second half of the second day. So far, am very happy. Fit is good, besides my short pinky. Might be too warm for some. The glove stays dry and warm for both days.

Experience:   I'm slim and tall riding my first RC board, sized 152 wit Cartels. Rode in groomers, pow, trees and park. Very responsive. It was fast, almost as fast as my Custom. It held a great edge. Fast mindless transitions, very easy to crave. Felt just a little loose going fast (totally manageable), but it's definitely more stable than other RC boards. Thanks for the carbon X inserted between the bindings. But it was still very butter friendly and can easily be spread all over the mtn. Very poppy and feels very sturdy landing jumps off kickers. Riding switch has never felt more comfortable till now. No worries wit catching an edge while griding boxes. Super fun board. I recommend this board for anyone looking for their first RC board or freestyle-oriented all-mtn. board.

Experience:   First, feet pain. Boots loosen up after a run or two. Then comfort is ok. The tougue never stays in the middle. Some heel lift. The Speed Zone laces started to shred after 15 full days and decided to stop locking when I got off a kicker. My foot almost came out of the boot. Almost cause me my leg when I landed. Good beginner boot. They will not last if not a beginner.

Experience:   This is my second set of bindings that I brought in Feb. 2008. My first were 1999 Ride Preston LX. These Cartels are so different. High back, padding under boot, etc. Although size small were sold out. The staff insisted on these bindings anyway without thinking cuz they were simply the best for the buck. He showed me there's not big of a difference for my size 7.5 boot. When I strap them on, I can't tell that the bindings are a bigger size. Even my friend, that helped me doing some fine adjustment to my bindings couldn't tell that the bindings are a bigger size than my boots. The bindings were awesome, so responsive but very forgiving at the same time. And the toe cap is great, so much more control over toeside. I don't think I need anything better for what I am doing.

Experience:   This is my second board, a 148. I purchased my first board, Liquid Twin 156, in 1999. I couldn't do anything besides sluggish craving. I rode it for couple of years til I broke my back (I injury it during work). After a few years, my back got better. So I went out to find a new board. In Feb. 2008 I went to SierraSnowBoard. The staffs were very helpful and they helped me picked an all mountain/ freestyle board that matched my body type and my riding style. They suggested Custom 151 but I wanted it to be easier to spin, so the staff suggested a 148. The first hours on this board sucked, cuz I forgot how to snowboard. After I got my groove back, I jumped from beginner to advance in a day. The only thing bad bout this board are: the top sheet scratches very easily. Now that I got better, I wanted a softer flexing board for easier butters and presses (nothing wrong with the board's flex, its just my new preference). Thanx Sierra
