  • Cons:  Soft for landing large jumps, doesnt easily power through rough terrain and chop, you dont own one yet ;-)

Basically the women's version of the Sierra Stunt. At the Bruizzapalooza meet I decided last minute I wanted to check this board out... the only deck left was a 138 which is shorter than anything I had previously ridden. I figured this board would be a joke and too short to really enjoy. WRONG. It snowed way too much at steamboat to take it out, so I strapped in and did a little carpet boarding... Hello effortless tail blocks! I promptly asked Mike if I could keep this board ;-) thanks Mike for generously agreeing to give me this sick stick! I rode it all day at Keystone and kept up with the straight line boys surprisingly well, and I enjoyed the hell out of it!!! This board is comparably soft to the SMF (Capita Space Metal Fantasy) that I currently ride. Butter, pop, speed, nice edge to edge, centered, basically everything I like in a board. In the length I own this board in I wouldn't take it in anything deep, but on groomers and in the park this board is nothing but fun and awesome! It's def got a place in my quiver and I would highly recommend this to any lady looking for something fun, progressive, easy to ride, wanting to hit park and slay groomers on, from beginner to advanced rider. What a pleasant surprise :-)

Do you know if this board will do well in icy condition? My mountains dont really get much real snow. Most of the times, they are icy.I'm just concern how it will do in icy condition.

I would say its decent on ice. I ride on the east coast and we get variable weather here, much of it is either ice or very hard packed snow. The Vspot holds up fine. I personally do not like Magnatraction but if you are really really concerned about riding on ice maybe you should look into a board that has that. Check out GNU and Roxy and Libtech boards if it interests you.

Continuously by far my favourite snowboard... it's one of the softest boards I've ever ridden, but also one of the most fun. For someone who used to ride a lot of stiffer snowboards and enjoys laying down deep trenches on groomed runs, this super noodle deck has never let me down. I can do everything I used to do as a rider, and more! This board gives nice short radius turns, and nice fat carves, it's good on jumps, box's and rails, and excels mainly in the park. I would highly recommend this as a park board for any lady looking to add to their quiver. Additionally, I would also highly recommend this to any beginner looking for something to get started on, its very forgiving and easy to ride. As an advanced rider, I enjoy this board EVERYWHERE! and on EVERYTHING! It's def my go to deck for guaranteed fun! Cant believe its not butter? this is nothing but. Press, pop, jib, progress, lay it down, giv'er! On the downside, this board is torsional soft as well making ollying straight somewhat more challenging at times, just something to get used to... and soft boards don't power through chop very well, so if you like to ride really fast and straight line... might wanna look elsewhere. The 2011 deck rides almost identically to the 2010... I didn't notice any major differences.

  • Name: 2011 Union Trilogy Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  responsive, comfortable, quality, beefy buckles, lightweight, simple style, Supportive straps, no pressure points
  • Cons:  some might consider it too soft, for example a woman who prefers a mens binding,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I always love riding these, they're super light and have great hold, they are really responsive and can take you everywhere on the mountain from the steeps to the park and everywhere in between. This is a softer binding that would be great for any progressive female rider (beginner or advanced). These are definitely one of my favourite women's bindings and I'm giving them a 9/10. I wear a womens 7.5 boot and ride a SMALL trilogy binding. I suggest to push the heel cups all the way into the binding (when you buy them they are in the middle setting). who are these for: Beginner, progressive rider, any lady wanting to learn some park, good for jumps, rails, box's, groomers, powder. You can take this binding about everywhere. If you are the kind of lady who likes to ride a stiffer mens binding, then these are likely not for you - UNLESS you feel like trying something new, they might surprise you ;-) very good binging.

Experience:   One word - Quality. Now some more words - magnesium ratchets, lifetime warrantied base plates, bomb proof, HELLA AWESOME, these bad larries let you ride hard and fast and keep you under control of your board! These are my fav bindings by far. *Note* I said they need to be adjusted smaller because I'm a girl - but they fit perfect after moving a couple pieces.

Hey! I've been doing a lot of research on finding a good, fun, light, flexy park board and I think I've landed on the SMF. I'm a little apprehensive because there are no other reviews on here, but I have heard only good things about the guy's Horoscope and you seem really happy with yours too. I am about 5'4 and 135-140 pds. What size do you think I should get? I was kind of leaning toward a 145. Right now I am riding a Salomon Lush and it's a pretty solid all-mountain board but I want something that can help me progress in the park and is more park-specific. My Lush is also WAY too big, it's a 149, which makes it fun in powder...but I feel out of control in the park sometimes. Anyways, any more insights on what size I should get or anything else you think about the board would be awesome to know! I'm always a little nervous about buying new boards, especially without testing them. This is also going to be my first experience with FK camber, I know it will be different but I feel like it's something I will learn to love.

sorry im just seeing your comment now! you should have PM'ed me. You could ride the 143cm board for sure, thats what im riding now and its great in the park and im enjoying it outside the park as well. Its definitely a fun ride, forgiving, and great for progression :-)

Experience:   I love the fit of this thermal, its very flattering and comfortable. The colors are awesome, and the style is nice. The thermal is very warm (warmer than some UnderArmour thermals I have). I have this in a Small and usually wear womens small t-shirts. I am 5'3, 125-130lbs and it fits awesome. The shirt is very stretchy, easy to move in and not constricting in anyway. I think this has become one of my fav thermals!

another comment hah, I own this in XS, S, M and L... all of them fit me haha. the XS is tighter obviously but its not uncomfortable or restricting, its very stretchy. The S fits great, the M is great too, and the L has more room and fits loose but looks very nice as well.

  • Pros:  Yes! That's right! Finally a sock that's made from real angels hair! These socks are so amazing you will never want to take them off. In fact you will wear them 3 consecutive days in a row until they are filthy and smelling like old cheese - so I suggest you buy enough of them so that you can wash them regularly without going into withdrawal.
  • Cons:  You will never want to take them off. Not even to wash them...

  • Cons:  extremly soft once broken in (after about 30days), Too soft, boot packs out a lot

Experience:   I bought these boots at the beginning of the season. Day 1 in these was extremely painful although the boots fit like a glove - breaking them in hurt quit a bit. I couldn't wear snowboard socks in the so I wore some thin summer socks. After a couple days riding these boots they packed out and I could wear my snowboard socks. I've put about 50 days on these boots this season and I can now lift my heel inside the boot, they are very soft now and don't provide the support I expect from my boot. I ride aggressively and I feel like I already need new boots. I would recommend these to someone who does not get many days on snow, or for a beginner, or someone who purely rides park. I still very much like the boots, but wish they hadn't packed out so much and wish they had remained stiffer.

Experience:   This is a great board! Especially for the price. The board is very flexible when hand flexed and has nice pop while riding. However - I did not enjoy this board as much as either of my other boards, I own 2 Capitas and find they definitley outperform this board. They also sell at comparable price's. The stance on the Crew doesnt offer many in between option becuase the few holes are very spread out. BOTTOM LINE : I would not buy this board for 400$ but at 120$ its a good deal.

  • Pros:  These goggles are delicious. I own the double daffy pink Feenoms with a Fire chrome lens. I can practically look AT the sun with them on, the lens is so nice. they're great for day and night riding. tons of vision thanks to being so spherical. I think about 20 ppl told me they loved my goggles the 2nd day I wore them.
  • Cons:  HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! these goggles are so big they eat half my face... and then some. They sit pretty much on the end of my nose.

Experience:   keep in mind I wear a wmns XS helmet... I have a tiny head - which probably just exaggerates how big these really are. but all in all - theyre huge, big, ballin!

Experience:   These pants are basically a shell. They fit great, look great, and are ok for riding in. Layer up good if its cold out. I have the Tan Multi Pinstripe ones and the fabric is not super durable - I have yet to damage them but I dont think they will last as long as some other pants. Their style is nice and baggy, and the waist is adjustable for when you drink too much beer (or for comfort hah). There are no vents in this model of pant.

Experience:   Best features: Western style, and hot colors. Very basic jacket. Cons: Fits like a bag... not tailored very well for a female form (I find a lot of Burtons wmns jkts are like this...). Lacking in pockets inside and has no gators in the sleeves. Does its job as a jacket haha - keeps warm and dry.
