Experience:   I have the restricted version of these bindings with the wings that wrap around and they look and feel dope. They're one of the most lightweight bindings I've ever owned and super responsive. The straps are ridiculously comfortable and the top straps have a death grip on your boots never slipping off like some other brands that I've tried. Do yourself a favor and try them out.

Experience:   If you want a quality helmet that looks as good as it protects, look no further. The Smith Holt comes in a wide variety of colors and graphics and provides top notch protection. It has definitely saved my skull on more than one occasion and is still going strong. The only drawback is that it's a bit on the heavy side.

Experience:   For the price, the quality and features on these pants can't be beat. You get 25k waterproofing and 10k breathability along with more pockets than you can figure out what to do with. These pants are also insulated so your buns will be nice and toasty on even the coldest days.

Experience:   I used these boots several times last season and they were by far the lightest boots I've ever had. It feels like nothing is attached to your feet while you're riding and they're pretty darn comfortable. They have a nice mid-flex to them which allows you to tweak it in the air. Can't live without the quick-lace system anymore - a tug on each side and your feet are locked in, good to go. Not sure how durable they are since I've only had them for a short while but my other Burton boots (Ion, SL-9) have lasted well over 3-4 seasons and I typically get 35-50 days a season. So far, so good!

Experience:   This is my first pair of Ride bindings and they are quickly becoming my favorite bindings ever. I love they way they look, feel, and perform. They're lightweight and strong. The best part about them is the ratchets are smooth as butter and never get caught when trying to buckle in or unbuckle. Love the flex on the slimewall highbacks and the canted footbeds are just icing on the cake. You get a ton of great features for an inexpensive pair of quality bindings.

Experience:   These are probably my favorite pair of pants out of the five that I own for the following reasons - completely waterproof Gore-Tex fabric, super soft and smooth against the skin, and really durable. I have the DPM camo print and it goes well with almost every jacket I have. Burton's AK line is amazing. Sure, it's expensive but you definitely get what you pay for and more. Plus, they're backed by a lifetime warranty.

Experience:   I have the Gigi Ruf signature DX goggles and they're great. They never fog up and they're extremely comfortable. The only downside I can think of is that they're a little on the small side, so peripheral vision isn't as good as my Oakley Crowbars or Electric EG2s.

Experience:   I have the 166 Wheelie Gig from 05/06 and it's still going strong. This thing is pretty much bombproof and it can fit all my gear and clothes for a week. You can also fit multiple boards if you take off the bindings and stack the boards on top of each other. The outside pocket comes in handy when you have smaller stuff you want to keep separate. As I mentioned earlier, this thing can take a beating and then some. Mine still looks almost brand new after 5 years of being man-handled at airports. Awesome bag!

Experience:   These are probably the largest goggles out on the market right now and I listed it as both a pro and a con. On the upside, it really allows your peripheral vision to come into play since you can see so much out of the huge spherical lens. However, it's so large that it might not fit well with your existing helmet. I don't have any fitment issues with my Smith Holt helmet (no gaper gap) but I don't know about other brands. I think they look bad-ass and their colorways are awesome (I have them in Flight Pattern). My biggest gripe is that the inside of their lens is highly reflective which is terrible when it's sunny out. I can see my own face on the lens and it's a huge distraction. It's not the end of the world but I haven't experienced this with other brands such as Oakley, Dragon, or Von Zipper.

• Pros:  Optical clarity, Anti-fog, Comfortable

Experience:   When it comes to optics, you can't beat Oakley. They've been in the game for so long that they know what they're doing when it comes to lenses. I own the Terje signature model with the pink iridium lens and it works well in every type of condition (although it excels in cloudy and overcast light). The fit is perfect with my Smith Holt helmet and there is no gaper gap. It's super comfortable to wear all day and doesn't cause eye fatigue. Unlike my Electric EG-2's which annoyingly reflect light inside the goggles, the Crowbars allow you to see everything with razor sharp visual acuity.
