Then join the team of bloggers, writers, photographers and filmers who will be contributing to the new Sierra Snowboard Media section.
We're looking for updates on weather/snow conditions in all regions of the U.S.A. and Canada (and maybe the world?), gear reviews and previews, stories on pro riders and skiers, industry gossip, event coverage and photography, rider diaries and articles that could give an insider's perspective on your favorite local resorts.

Expectations & Compensation
Content should be interesting, well-reported, proofread and contain no conflicts of interest for Sierra Snowboard.
Each post must be accompanied by a minimum of one photo or video clip (shot by contributor, provided by an industry rep, or provided by professional photographer with permission and photo credit
Each post must also contain links to relevant products on Sierra Snowboard’s website (if applicable) as well as outside content when appropriate.
Contributors will be responsible for publishing their blog entries via the Sierra Snowboard content management system.
Once a week, contributors will check in with their Editor to outline prospective content in order to avoid overlapping with other contributors, and to ensure that all content supplied meets Sierra Snowboard’s standards and goals. Contributors will be looked to for insight into snowboarding and skiing in their local region, as well as what’s happening in the industry in general, and the look and feel of Sierra Snowboard’s coverage.
Qualifications:
Well-organized, efficient writers with a passion for snowboarding and/or skiing.
Good understanding of reporting basics, interview techniques, web research, fact checking and editing for the web.
Basic understanding of HTML: Competency to include hyperlinks to relevant products on SierraSnowboard.com and outside content, and the ability to embed photos and web videos into blog posts.
Basic understanding of photo/video editing tools for the web.
Willingness to engage with Sierra Snowboard community members in Sierra Snowboard discussion forums and via email.
